I've wondered actually if this is 69mm, how small can you get a ggts with say an 18350 or a 16340?

Dont only meassure the length of the unit but the length of the unit with an atomizer on it Maz. I say this because atomizer sits very low on the GGTS. That means that even if GGTS looks bigger than other 18350 mods (I dont think so) its shorter with an atomizer on it comparing to other mods. And remember that you compare the length of a unit that has much more abilities than other simple mods. :)

Cheers for the replies guys..

MisterD, yeah that's pretty small alright :) I've shortened a few mods along the way, I took 20mm off a MkI Screwdriver (25mm if you include the original button) and 9mm off a Super T P16 so I'd probably have a go at a GG eventually too if I eventually get one. I won't post pics in here as it's the GG subforum..

I think all in all the stealth would probably suit me better than the GGTS as I far prefer smaller mods (hence butchering the SD & P16) and if I got a GGTS I'd set it to it's smallest possible configuration and the rest would be wasted on a philistine like me.

There are a lot like me though, appreciate its looks but put off the GGTS purely by its size. The GG Stealth is a nice idea as it addresses this nicely, but Imeo please consider making this available in stainless too. There will be quite a few looking at this as a standalone unit in its own right, rather than a stepping stone to a GGTS and this thing would look absolutely awesome in stainless :2cool:

I have thought everything about GGTS size Maz. I dont think that you will find a way to make it even 1mm shorter buddy. But never say never of course!

Don't get me wrong Imeo, I'm not criticizing the size of the GGTS or your design, I'm just saying it's a bit big for me personally. I'm showing interest in the stealth, not knocking the GGTS.

I was just saying I'd prefer to buy one with a stainless top cap and rethreader instead of brass :)

After reading your post I see that you thought that I was upset. Not at all Maz! Sorry if my post looked rude but it was not in my intensions to do that. Its my english that cant allow me to express myself as I really want. I just said that I am almost sure that you cant make GGTS shorter. But if you manage to do that I will give you congatulations for sure!:)

GG was the first mechanical mod in e-cig world and it was almost the same as the GGTB my friend Mister. It name was GGGrant, it could do 3,7 , 6 and 7,4 volts and it was a tube with 2 caps. It had a button from a store. After this I made my button. Then I make a locking button, then a made a slim, then a nano, then I make a GG with sections (GGTransformer, that was a nano, a grant and a giant together), then I made the GGT cartomizer ready, then I made the first passthrough and wall plug, then I thought of the engraving and the 2 tone GG with brass accents, then I made the first mechanical adapters, then I made the telescope section to replace the sections, then I made a button with adjustable path, then I made 2 prototypes that had the ability to move the button in 4 places, then I made the 4 in 1 connector, then the CT with CR and the easy clean connector together, then the magnetic button, then the fuse, and at the same time I was making feeding systems like AFS, AVS, UFS and the last one was Iatty. I made all these thinking of a way to make them user friendly so anyone could use a new part without sending me the unit back.

Thats a small history of GG and e-cig world Mr:)

No, I didn't think you were annoyed Imeo, just wanted to set it straight that I wasn't picking fault with the GGTS is all. It's certainly a work of art that's for sure.

I am very interested in the GG stealth though, it's better for me. I remember a couple of years ago looking at the nano and wondering whether or not to buy it, I didn't in the end and had periods of regretting that decision after you stopped making it.

The GG stealth is another small GG and it's that size I want, I don't want to build it up into a GGTS at a later date but keep it as a stealth. This is the reason I really want you to say you'll make the stealth in all stainless rather than with a brass top cap and rethreader.

Go on Imeo, you know you really want to make stainless an option :thumb: :)
