GG-Stealth - - really sharp

Just received my GG-Stealth. Really wonderful.
However, the bottom cap of the stealth is really sharp edged (very useful if you want to cut paper ;-) but a little bit uncomfortable when holding).

Is that normal? My Esterigon is much smoother.
Cause I have absolutely no experience with stainless steel, how can I smooth out the edge without destroying the matt finish?

That's why polished steel is easier to handle than matte.

Not very helpful ... i know.

Sure, but
- I like mat more
- mat is not so slippery (my polished steel Esteragon with Tilemahos dropped down two time within a week. I suppose my hands still think they are holding a cigarette. I need a metal body for my clear tank Tilemahos, immediately)

I would believe there should be a small chamfer, such as on the body itself.
Might find some 2000 Grit Emery cloth, lay on a flat hard surface being very careful and slow, just hold the entire device on a 45 degree angle, rotating in your hands as you slide the same direction as the edge.

Not much pressure should be needed, and a very small amount should actually require removed before it's comfortable.

I had the same prob but on a J GG
I used a very fine diamond hand held
Honing stone
1 rotation possibly 2 of the offending item on it's sharp edge sorts it out


The diamond hand held honers are great for any rough threads or burrs you might come across

Good idea. I have one for my knives. Haven't thought to use it for that. Thanks!
