So I was fortunate enough to be able to snag a Stainless GG Stealth mod from COV and a friend was generous enough to part with his Odysseous. It came in the mail today and after watching a few videos I made my first coil. This thing vapes like a champ. Nice warm vape. Resistance measured at 1.4 ohms.
It works great except that I noticed when the ody is screwed all the way down tight onto the stealth top cap, airflow is a bit restricted and it whistles. I've tried adjusting the pin in the 510 connector as well as following Imeo's suggestions on the thread about the stealth gap. Anyone else experienced this problem?
The only way I can get unrestricted airflow and no whistle is by loosening the ody at least 1/2 turn. Then it's spot on perfect vape time.
Is it possible to buy any other part that will let me control the airflow on the stealth? Should I just go with the suggestions of o rings in the juice well?
Will the airflow control valve from a ssggts work on my stealth?
Thanks,
~ J
