Yes I understand the wick problem. It's been in like 3 times now and I missed a 3 times. I got e-mail notification and I go to the link within the hour and, gone, gone , the Notify Me ...lol I don't get it , 3 times like this. What's the problem ? a shortage on silicon ? It gets frustrating , to say the least....
I don't know what to say but, it's not Bruces falt ! he just posts what he gets sent to him....

I wonder if it isn't because there is such a short window, that people try to buy as much as they can because they don't know when they will get the chance again. I happened to miss this one too. I've got about enough wick left for one more coil.

Truth though, it's not COVs fault, nor is it the fault of the people that buy 60 feet at a time. That's how supply and demand works. When supply is low and demand is high, prices (should) go up to keep some stock. When demand is low and supply is high, things should be cheap and readily available. I don't think that we're anywhere near Market Saturation with the wick/wire though. Far from it, if COV is selling out inside of a couple hours, for a product that they get a shipment of every two-three weeks.

I have to agree on the supply demand side. Now that my coils are tuned in I'm literally using like 4 inches of wick a week....maybe. After you're done playing with coils and figure out what you like a little will go a long way. Could use less but I find that I'm changing a wick in one of the GG products once a week for one reason or another. Mind you not because they've failed or started to taste bad.

That being said I'm sure people are feeling like I was:

This is one of the best vapes over.
How can I go back to inferior methods.
Must stock enough for life!

It's only natural to hoard a little when the products are this good. I did give away a fair amount of wick to people on here so others would have a chance to play. I have enough left for quite a while and eventually there will be some more for sale.

Here's to hoping that COV ships Penelope's today per the website. Looking forward to my first GG and my first rebuildable.

I saw in another thread that they do have them and they are going to start shipping today however it may take through Wednesday to get them all out the door. The good news is that they are here in the States and its just a matter of time now. Id rather they take their time and get them out correctly anyhow. The big hurdle in my mind is just getting them safely on this side of the pond :)

I figure I use about 2" of wick per coil = 6 coils per foot of wick = 18 coils per 3' package of wick. Since I have 2 Ody's mounted on 2 GGTS's and I usually replace the coils about every 2 days I roughly use about 2 of the 3' packages of wick per month - figuring a little waste and an occasional screw up. When I used to drink liquor and smoke analogs I always bought by the half gallon and by the carton cause I hate to run out - and I had local suppliers for those. Since I definitely don't wanna run out of vaping supplies and have to order them online I'd like to be able to get about a 6 month supply each time. But I do admit I'm a little .... about such things lol.
We should have more wick posted soon... We just had put a lot up...

It goes very quick, 3ft is a large amount in my opinion but you never know, some people like to switch wicks often...

Thanks. Found the other thread you mentioned. Subbed there too. Looks like it will be a nice weekend with the Penelope if all goes well.

I decided to soak my ceramics in RY4 , why not sure just thought after I torched them I would store them soaked in the only juice I vape.. I also have doubled wick up for first time and getting great vape. Got my Kir Fanic windows in all 3 they look sweet and with my OCD I have to know how much is in the tank cause with the SS tank I would seriously open it up every 20 minutes to check not anymore! lol

Yes same here LOL.. Here is the KirFanis the "big mode" on the short mode body.. I do not understand because I have not had a long out big mode so I bet the piece fits in with the other pieces in the expansion set but he sent it to me as a gift for accidently sending two "DID" windows on accident so sent me 1 of each 3 sizes.. So happy with this the long mode or big mode works sweet and adds at least 2ml or more juice I would assume and looks feels great see: not sure why I can't stand pix on my phone as it wont save correctly but anyways

That's just were they end up on the Kir Fanis tanks Rivernut. I'm looking at mine while reading super's post and it looks exactly the same. Bottom washer stays on the Ody base and gets squished down by the tank. Top washer goes right on the tank and gets squished down by the Ody top cap. Stock washers from your current Ody just get re-used.
