I stumbled upon GG last December/January. Have been following and waiting for the chance to finally become part of the GG family!

I even got lucky and got my name in early for Proteus, so I am on the waiting list!!

Ody and Pene release and I got mine, so I finally feel like I am becoming part of the family!

And suddenly the GGTS goes on pre sale and I have no luck getting one. but I know in a few weeks they will start to show up on the classies.

vaping should be fun. I would have loved to send my money in advance and wait a few months like I have with the Grip. Or at least get my name on a list like Hellfire so I can get on a few months later like I did. But because I was not sitting waiting I have missed out.

Sorry for venting. I am happy for all of you who got one. I look forward to hearing all the good things! I may still have a chance at the Proteus, but at this point I think it's a long shot.

Yeah guess I missed it. How often do these go on sale? Every 2-3 months?

Try once a year. Give it a few weeks and they will show up on the classies at a marked up price. As many try a profit from the small avail qtys.

Very true! It is certainly a minority that try to profit.

I am just really bummed of waiting for 7 months, finally got my first Ody and the GGTS Base only to now not use it. I have had the money and would have loved to have given it months ago to secure me one. But no luck!

You aren't in this boat alone Jagell. I watched the site when it switched from July, 29th to August 3rd, and then they do this. And I was setup for notify me and never got the email, same thing happened with the Ody and Penelope but I managed to get those somehow, so I am still somewhat thankful.

Once Imeo finishes the Proteus he'll be able to focus more on VIR which is designed solely for GGTS. So I would bet that Imeo will be ramping up TS production because of the vested interest in VIR

Can't please everybody all the time but I'm sure there a lot of disappointed folks today. I was checking the forum everyday for any new announcements about the pre order. Checked yesterday afternoon, nothing new. Got up this morning checked again and it's history. Disappointed but happy for those able to get one. Hopefully there'll be another opportunity before too long.

I'm not in the market for another at this point though I did timely receive my notification. I did see Aug. 3rd and thought that was maybe a second batch but sounds like this may not be the case. Hope all who really want one are able to acquire at a decent price by other means if that's the only way.

What is the difference between the "by Imeo"and "to my friend"? Did Imeo make less of the "to my friend"s than the other or?

Yep. The TMF ones were limited runs. I don't recall the exact numbers of each, but there was a run of them in aluminum and one in SS. Just something else to drive the "gotta have 'em all!" collectors nuts ;-)

My first was a TMF edition... I was then insanely driven to buy one of the other ones.

He quit making the TMF in alum because people .....ed. I asked him to start that up again for the run starting around last July, he continued to make some of each until this last group - no longer can it be put on the GGTS since there is no room with the new deeper engravings.
