I saw a video where you can put an Ody in a UFS ....

Is all I need a Ody Drip Mode and a Short Mode mouthpiece, or do I need that Ody Small Base?

I have 2 UFSs, and saw a vid of Imeo (I think it was him) using the drip mode Ody in his UFS ....

Use the drip mode base and the short mode mouth piece for the UFS.

The Penelope post ready AND Penelope base will work with drip mode.. I do not understand why one needs the drip base if it fits on Penelope base? Can someone tell me why?

Like dspin said in the link I gave you, if you have a Penelope and you want drip mode, all you need is the Ody drip mode mouthpiece cone.

Imeo stated that COV may not start until tomorrow. And there may be some details on the website that will need to be worked out. Just a guess though.

I believe he said it's until August 25th. He gets back on the 21st but the machine shop is closed until the 25th of August.

At the end of the day since the supply is pretty much unlimited we don't need 20 days to order. Even a couple days would be more then enough for most people to get their orders in.

That being said I hope that CoV posts stuff soon. I imagine there is some back end work that needs to be done in order to orchestrate this as they don't have a lot of the stuff that you can order currently on their site. The older brass pieces for example or the complete UFS V2 package(I assume at some point you could just but a complete UFS V2). Imeo specifically said you could order the old style brass connector and buttons. That's what I'm personally after. Old style brass cap, brass telescope, brass bottom piece and brass botton with SS upper and battery tubes. It's the one pictured in another thread on this site. Would love to have an older style one since the boat has sailed on those a long time ago.

Imeo said he is going to have his vendors take pre-orders starting today or tomorrow up until the 25th when he gets back. Then he said it will take 2 1/2 monthe to fabricate the orders. I believe the shipping date that is posted on COV right now is from the other night when just a few of us were able to get in on the orders. Thats not to say that they didnt end up with some extra stock thats available right away.

I'm pretty fortunate that my one and only is that old style you refer to. I've "upgraded" it from a Rev.1 to the current when COV had the full connector with control tank available a few month back on the site. Also, pleased that I can finally get a UFS V2 mouthpiece to make it fully complete. Thanks too for the information provided....
