I personally have no problem with them taking ithakas to vape bash, they definitely ordered a considerable number over the number of pre-orders, so its not like they are selling your pre-ordered atomizer, and why are we going to punish them for wanting to take them to a once a year show when they have the chance? its not their fault that they showed up the day before/day they left, its just how the timing worked out, and if your jealous of the 20 people who got their ithakas a week before you, get over yourself, they lucked out.

Invaderevan either you have not paid attention to all the points made by those upset, or you just do not want to see another point of view other than your own. Or you are intentionally trying to stir up more drama.

If you think this is about egos that we need to get over, you really have missed the point. You are more than entitled to your opinion, but saying, 'get over yourself' is insulting and bordering on a personal attack. You have no problem with this, that is fine. Leave it at that.

i have no intention of stirring this up more, so left at that it is.

I hope that you are one of the pre-order that raised your opinion. I haven't received any shipping notification yet, and I definitely don't know how many COV has ordered? Wait until some pre-order customers don't get any notification in the next few days, the hell would shook loose again.

I understand your point but you have too many assumptions. We never want to be outrage in this forum but the reply from Justin was totally ridiculous and unprofessional. This is a business transaction, not a story telling excuse.

Yes, the complete internals are available. And all the pieces and parts. Take your time. You have a month to order them!

Thanks, Bruce. I can't seem to locate the internal set on the COV web site (I see all the bits and bobs, but not a complete set), so perhaps it hasn't been posted yet ... or else I'm Mr. Magoo.

I'm really glad the internals sets are going to be available ... I have two of them for my Penelopes, and it's great to be able to completely set up a wick and coil at my convenience before it is needed and then just drop it in when it's time to change.

EDIT **********
I AM Mr. Magoo! I just went to the second page of Ithaka pre-order parts, and there was the full internals set right in front of me ...

I ordered an Ithaka from COV. (Pre order on 4-22). I emailed and asked about an approximate timeframe and was given one. I realize this is an APPROXIMATE. If there is one thing I have learned ordering high-quality, high-demand items is that patience is a virtue. I've had some correspondence with Bruce at COV and it has been pleasant and completely professional. I am new to vaping, about a month in so it is nice to have dealers and shops that will take time to explain things to new customers.

I plan on giving COV quite a bit of my business over the next few years.

Just wanted to share my experiences thus far and give some feedback.

Ithaka ready wires

These are so terribly handy. But no matter how gentle I am about wrapping the wires around the wick, about one in four pops loose at the solder joint. Would be no issue if they were not a dollar each.

Amy hints about handiwork? Sometimes I try to wrap beyond the res wire end, so that the strain is in the no-res portion. Hints welcome.
