Not at all man! I just have been seeing you here and fighting with us through the whole thing. THe other guys mentioned had already packed it in for the night.
I am looking for his post now amidst a ton of os rapid posts earlier but he did say he would be happy with one kit for both. You're a good man Vlad for ofering. I'll see if I can verify that post and advise.
Confirmation emails would depend on the database working right, and it is just erroring at random
I had a couple very odd errors, in the midst of my ~25 checkout attempts (never had to work so hard to place an order), but one of the errors I saw was "Failed to instantiate email" or something close to that. A similar error behind the scenes could prevent some confirmations from going out.
Its a hardware/database bottleneck pretty common with shared hosting environments. I was getting very odd errors, which seemed totally random, at one point it "couldn't find card type Visa". Thats just a straight-up database eff-up, most likely from not enough system resources. I'd say if you plan on doing many more publicly announced preorders, you might need to get a server upgrade, or move to a bigger host. jmho!

If yous without confo emails just check your ORDER OVERVIEW section at the top right of page you will see all orders you've made with COV. You can get the confo number from there and PM Bruce if you wish.
If there is no number or record of order in that list it DID NOT go through.
I checked mine and all are there including the first one whivch I never recieved confo email on.

I've already contacted hrathor....he msg'd me back saying thanks and he was only able to get his 2 bases and one kit

Just for the record, (and I know Fright among others can verify), I have seen as many as 700 visitors and 85 members on the CoV site on previous pre-orders and not a hiccup.
I'm sure Bruce will have a word with his hosting company but we weren't anywhere near that kind of numbers tonight. He may have a hosting deal with so called "unlimited" bandwidth such as I do on my 2 sites but they do tend to reallocate resources dependent on other clients traffic.
At any rate, with the SQL errors and such that we were all seeing, I suspect Bruce (if he does his own work) or the person that does his work may want to check the integrity of his databases after this.
Me? I'm just still porked off at having to buy a new connector pin because my wife likes to put lemon juice concentrate in her drinking water...
