Since people are trying to find old and unique things, ill throw my desires out there!!
Anyone have an "in" on finding some old Superslim stuff? or Superslim extension pieces? I will take any finish i can get, though i have always pined for an all brass one.

Have two questions to ask if anyone can help. First is re: wire for iatty 1. While waiting for my order from COV I got two types of wire, the first I got from DFW atomizer heating coil: Parameter Resistance 0.098ohm/mmhttp://www.dfwvapor.com/atomizer-heating-coil.html

I also received two sets of wire from the person who sold me iatty. While one was marked no resistance and the other was marked as resistance wire, both are measuring the same w/ multimeter. Tried to assemble from the two of those and the wire assembly is not showing resistance above 1.5.

Can anyone tell me how no resistance wire can be identified?

To make matters worse, I've spent a fortune trying to assemble a SSGTS from a SS Stealth and still am missing the full top assembly (I guess). Can anyone tell me what parts make up the full top assembly for the SSGTS?

Sorry to throw a phone book at you guys I've just spent a lot of time and money and am, apparently, over my head. Hoping somebody can give me some pointers.

Unless you don't have the top tube, then you need that as well, sorry.

no resistance wire should be a bit thicker. Also it shouldnt register on the multimeter and frankly you should purchase the wire in bulk for $4.50 you can get 75 foot for the no resistance wire here is the link for 20 foot of .999 fine silver wire 30 gauge.

The top cap is comprised of the control ring and collector tank
and the connector and connector insides as well as 801 top cap for atomizer someone let me know if i've missed anything

Top tube and the 901 top cap instead of or including the 801 cap depending on the atty you like...and maybe rethreaders

yeah rethreaders but, i dont think they come with the full assembly. Also if you want to connect it to ody you'll need adapters or the new base. it is always cheaper to purchase the gg complete as im sure your finding out.

I firing pin with the insulator and the air control ring are in stock at COV, I believe.

i've got a full control tank with all mods adapter on it. Maybe i should buy the connecter and insides while they are in stock

Hello Sacred. Thanks for the info. I'd like to order the wire in bulk but I'm still a bit confused about what to order. Are both of the links you posted for NR wire or is the .999 fine silver 30 gauge resistance wire? Also, will these wires work well in both Iatty and Ody or do I need different wire for each? I'm pretty uneducated about such things and have seen so many posts about which wire is best for this or that that I get confused and just keep on ordering the small packages. It would be nice to buy a large supply at once and not have to worry about running out so often but I want to make sure I'm ordering the right/best stuff. Thanks for any help you can provide. Smitty

Silver will always be NR wire. For resistance the easiest source is ebay. Look for 32,34, or 36 awg Kanthal
Resistance heating wire, Kanthal D 36ga 50FT | eBay for 36 awg great for higher resistance over about 2.5 ohms

Kanthal D - 0,15 mm, 10 m, Draht Heizdraht - 77,3 ohm/m | eBay this is the stock size although Ody shipped with Nichrome whis wire is between 34 and 35 awg and will probably be better for lower resistance coils IMHO

The first one i posted is for Resistance wire it is $25 for 75 feet. The second link i posted is 20 feet of .999 fine silver NO resistance wire.

32 gauge 36 gauge is a personal preference. 32 gauge is less resistance per foot for instance a 1.5 ohm coild with 32 gauge is about 1.25 inches where as a 1.5 ohm coil for 36 gauge is about .50 inches so requires a bit more precision to wrap the coil.

I have only tried 36 gauge nichrome that shipped with ody and i did not like it. Also there are some differences between kanthal a-1 and d and im not sure what they are or if they effect vaping... maybe fright could chime in with that.

Well, just went through my order and I didn't get the control cap from GG France. I still have an incomplete set but think I have to wait till everything gets here then will try to get full top. Apparently I ordered two upper tubes in stead of an upper tube and a control cap.

I've certainly made a mess of this one and it cost me good.

You guys have been really nice to help. If anyone knows of anyone willing to sell a full top assembly or an old SSGTS for a reasonable price lmk. I think I've had it with this project for a while till everything arrives.

the old 7mm control ring is...the newer 8mm is out of stock
