When I did my little rant about the scalpers out there totally taking advantage of people, I totally agree with some of you when you say there are some good people out there and sell hard to get items at a reasonable price. The other day one of my friends sold a 2 month old Zenesis Standard for $200, and nothing was wrong with it. But I seen 2 weeks ago a GGTS wil ODY for $700, and it was not a low #, or and other extras. So that was basically 2 times what that sale was bought for. I know the person that was selling it, and they actually sold a different genesis style Hybrid, that was bought for $249, for $800. I understand that there is a bigger demand of these items then there is the supply. But the only reason people put these ridicules prices on these items is because there is someone out there that will pay, and if people would just stop buying these items at these prices then they can't sell them. Other forums have rules against things like this, and from what I have heard is that this forum, is changing their policy about selling an item for a penny more then the retail price, and that is the right thing to do. Put these theives out of business!!! I am not sorry if I hurt anyone's feelings, this is what I believe in, and I am not alone!!!

I know it sucks but I promise it would not be for a good reason.

I like to make sure we always satisfy the needs of customers first but we have just received a rather large shipment in from Greece that requires most of our attention. I already in a 12 hour Monday...

Anyways I'm really sorry guys but I promise to get right on all of the CS tickets as soon as possible

All GG products are underpriced kw. 1 year ago GG series was the most expensive in the market. Now its inexpensive but it worth much more than its selling price. But GG prices have to raise again because I cant sell earning only a few dollars per item.

Let the record show I bought an Ody a week ago in the classys for $130 with at least $15 worth of wick and wire. Now I understand there is a difference between an Ody and a GGTS, but there are also still decent people out there. As we all know that Ody could of easily sold for $50 more.

I'm with you V, now all people do is complain about prices, sales tax etc. Why would Bruce even consider a discount for people who have to pay sales tax. Best those people complain to their state representatives.

Bruce works on a narrow margin as it is for his profit. Why he would further reduce that is beyond me.

For those that complain of what they consider to be overcharging. We here in US do not live in a communist country - hence you sell what you have for what you want. The buyer who does not want to pay the price doesnt have to buy the item

I myself have paid double the original price of a GGTS - no where on ECF can anyone find that I complained about it. Nor am I complaining now. It was my choice. We dont need anyone telling someone else what they can charge for their own property. To do so is removing more of our rights. Think about it people.

I agree with you. My point in that last comment was to show that not all members who resell spike the price thru the roof because they know they we will pay it. Some people still sell for what they paid, which is how it should be. It bothers me when someone lists a GG product for 5 times it value.
Thats completely seperate from you as a businessman, keeping your head above water. We all agree your products are worth more than what you charge, and it would be a tragedy for you not to continue your work, due to under pricing.

On the ody I heard that they where putting them together starting last night at cov, there is a 1000 of them to go out so I assume we are looking closer to the end of this week before they ship. The Penelope is a week behind this.

You are correct. If one buys from a vendor in the state they live in, and that state has sales tax, then you are responsible for the sales tax on the purchase. As far as I'm concerned there is nothing to get in the middle of. I may be wrong, but I think a joke was just misinterpreted.
