ime, here's a post I made on the GG forum. There's several different places to get the wires. Wick has ended up being the biggest problem - for me anyhow.

My order hit Little Rock (4 hours away) late on the 28th. This morning it said out for delivery. So I go to the box today and on the way down the hill I can see the yellow flag was up telling me to keep walking and something is in the box. Just across the street I notice the mail box is open with nothing in it. 
So I called the PO and they said to wait till Monday. A few things worry me here. In the two years since I put that mail box in its never opened on its own. The other is that they had all time to get it here today. The last thing is that I have never seen tracking say OFD and it not be in the box that day.
One thing I can think of is the part time mail man working the weekend could have made a mistake. I hope thats it. At any rate I thought I should bring it up. Might have an issue. Will it ever end?

yea F the USPS... every time I ask my PO lady a question she rolls her eyes.. they should be happy they have a job in this economy! gasp at me because I PAID for a priority package that says out for delivery and get an attitude cause i ask why it is not there and she has to walk back 10 feet to her mail truck.. better recognize lol
Thats even worse then my ordeal. As of yesterday I finally picked up the Vision Stone 3 and got it fixed up. puffing clouds that put the Nova 2 to shame by at least 2-3x's I DIY and have juice stocked up. On a side note while typing this my wife called from her first break and said she seen the yellow flag up on the box on her way out, and the door was closed. She never checks it though. I could only hope she did but no luck. I cant believe this crap. Still keeping my hopes up here but the minute I seen that box door open, I had a bad feeling. That's almost $200 I cant afford to replace. Do we have some sort of safety net for a situation like this? Never had something like this happen but its proving day come Monday.
Well here's what happened to me last week, Was sent a package insured for 200.00 signature required. When I got home guess what - package was in the mailbox, no signature was asked for - just sitting there for anyone to take. USPS is nothing but a joke anymore. If I were dishonest I could have said I never received it, slam dunk the PO is the basket. They would be out 200.00 - fools

So the package your referring to was OFD. The mail lady forgot to put it in the box, so you reminded her, or you got it the next business day? Even hearing that would slightly put my mind at ease. Like I was saying. The box has never fell open but when it does open the flag comes up. Thats all I seen while making the walk towards it knowing its in the box. This is starting to feel like a real life horror flick.

I commend you for that. The guy at the Post Office by my house was fired for over charging people. Twice I sent my wife to the PO with larger boxes that had shipping labels on them, for flat rate shipments. He made her pay more and she let him rip us off twice. Only after the second time telling me something was wrong, I put in a complaint on him and he was fired. They kept it hush so they didn't have to give everyone the money back he was scamming. He got us for almost $20 and I am sure he is not the only one cause they said he was getting a lot of the same complaints from other people.
I remind her and she gets pissy and goes and gets it, otherwise she would have just delivered the next day ;/
Okay thanks. The only way I can feel good about that is thinking the box fell open on its own. It takes a decent amount of pressure to open it though. 
I really hope it gets here on Monday. I might be stalking from 1-4pm. Wish I could see the street from my house. Its about 100 yards away and my land is basically the woods. Cant see crap. I tried binoculars a couple times to see if I could spot the yellow flag. We have to many trees.

Two seperate times, I've sold something on the classifieds here and after it shows up as out for delivery
the buyer pm's me to let me know it hasn't shown up yet. Both people were very reasonable about it,
and both times the package ended up delivered the next mail day, major relief.. Best guess-
It seems some postal workers just scan packages as delivered and leave them in the van or wherever
until the next day if they're running behind on the route or just lazy, as supervape said...
