sorry folks noob question,

i am having trouble with the button on my ts not firing or making conection. it either dosent fire or the harder i press the harder it fires (i hope that makes sense). i have tried replacing the spring and adjusting the button.
do i remember reading some where that sanding the contact point on the button and the post was recommended?

Ok,

The throw is adjustable.... there is a nut on the button itself, what you need is to decrease the button press...

OR

If not that then you make sure that the button is tight, by that I mean pressing the button, and gripping the pentagon shaped bottom, try to tighten the top of the button itself, making sure the pentagon shape does not spin...

hopefully its one of these two issues.

i didn't have any fine sandpaper but i did rub it on my concrete driveway to rough it up a bit, lol

worked like a charm!!!

i dont know what i like better the divice itself or the fact that both the maker and the distributer took the time to answer my question and offer up solutions.

it is no mystery to me why these devices are so sought after.

As for the sanding, the more shiny are the contacts, the better. So the best way to keep the button in its best contition is to sand it with a very fine sandpaper. Also that way button will be clean for a longer time

its just that my email was log on and within sec a new mail came and it was from COV
not intending to waste time faster go to site and purchase and post here to inform fellow members as i realize everyone is waiting for it so its just a heads up

Dumb question...just got my first Ody and want a ceramic backup. All that is avail is the V2, I take it do I need to get the V2 housing with it, or is my new Ody I got last week already have the V2 version?

Hope I get an answer quick before they are all gone!
