Imeo,

Thank you so very much. I am again vaping with my GGT 6 volt. It is wonderful and I love it.:wub::wub:

Suzi,

At this point, it is easy for me to see how you have been 'testy' not having your 6 volts. Oh yes, I understand now better than ever. Just thought i'd let you know.

You might discuss with Imeo, the possibility of having a loaner on hand for these types of emergency situations, it would be very helpful.

Rainy :)

dont forget to remind me in 1 week from now to make a button and send it to you. I forgot to say to my customers that Trans is very easy to change the whole button without send it back to me as you did with Grant

Thanks my dear

Hi Grimmer,

It did occur to me at one point to pm Imeo only but it didn't really seem to be that big of a deal. Primarily I thought anyone could tell me how to vape without the button on a temporary basis.

Now that I am able to read this thread in a relaxed way it is amazing to see the type of thing that takes place even with very minor issues.

But all things considered it does seem to be a good idea to just handle certain issues with Imeo in private. That's a great idea and considerate.

Rainy :)

Its a little dificult for anyone to find a woman like you rainy:thumb:

Imeo it is very sad that things we can all learn from have to remain in PM, this is why we had to create a passworded room over on GG.com so that we are not jumped on by people taking one word out of a conversation and jumping on it with the intention of causing trouble.

So can I remind everyone, that we also have a members room on the GG site, where problems can also be discussed, as well as PM'ing Imeo.

Imeo, can I also say Bravo to you for deleting that post

something else about the lock option. Dont tight hard the locking nut, there is no reason for this. Just lock it with a very small strength, nothing else. It will not unlock. But if it unlocks, it must take 2 whole rounds before make a contact if get pressed. In any situation this cant happened.

That's an excellent suggestion, Rainy! :)

I'm glad you found a work around for your problem.

The "solution".

Someone can put 120 euros to my account and I will send him another GG. When he send it back to me I refund to him. But if this GG has the same luck as the first one?

I have already think of that solution, I have already propose that to a customer (for other reasons and not for shipping reasons), but its not a solution.

The solution is Iken only. We will avoid many problems like this one.

Do you mean have the same luck as in the GG getting lost in shipping?

I know we spoke of this once before, and you are right Imeo, its not a good idea, to do this until Iken is up and running.

The majority of GG folk are in the US anyway, so having a spare GG sitting with Iken ready to be used as a 'relief GG' apt phrase, dont you think?... lol would be a really good idea.

I for one would be happy to pay into a fund for this GG, that way if we all contributed, the cost of the GG would be quite low to each of us, then should we need it, all we would need to pay is postage.

That is of course, should Iken be happy to do this.

Yes suzi, I mean exactly that.

Christena the solution you propose is very good for situations like faulty GGs only and not for shipping delays as I said before. If a GG is not on time to its owner then the next one maybe will have the same luck, so we will have 2 lost GGs, a still unhappy customer and Iken with no alternative GG.

So for any other reason exept shipping delays, this solution is good. The customer I told you before couldnt accept this solution because he had no money to put on my paypal account so we stop the procedure.

Yipes! I don't think I'd want to risk having 2 paid for devices lost in transit. 8-o

This is why I suggested the idea to come about once Iken is retailing the GG. As it isnt likely that the same problem will occur within US territory.

If it did, then it would stop anyone ordering anything within the US...lol, and thats clearly not the case.

Anyway, lets see what Iken thinks of it, before discussing it further, as he has been nominated the 'holder'...lol

Just one remark about which way a button turns: I think it's much better to stick to only using the terms 'clockwise' and 'counterclockwise'. Left and right isn't really usable... everyone who thinks it is left-turning: now change hands and do the same turning with the fingers of your other hand. See what I mean? Left becomes right, right becomes left... and problems stay forever because of mix-ups... :D

When explaining the situation to my husband last night, he just stated that the button/lock is a 'left handed thread'. So it is different than the end pieces.

Vinyl, you kept telling me but at that time I thought they all had to be alike. Now I realize that some are threaded differently. In the future I will have to remember that the button/lock is opposite the end pieces.

Anyhow, thanks so much for persistently trying to help me inspite of myself.he,he,he, :D:D
