Hi
Receive today my ggtb stainless tube, and the 17670 AW battery is really a tight fit, I even can't take the battery out without tearing both caps off an pushing the battery with a pen or something.
does anyone having the same problem?
I'm afraid to damage my batteries...
On the original alu tube smooth...

the diameter of the aw17670 can max out at 17.07mm (and minimally it's 16.97mm). the ID of the TB is about 17mm, so it's always a tight fit. the aw's are much more consistent in sizing than the others, and all mine fit without any force (some require the silver label to be removed), but none are on the high end of the spectrum. don't force it though, and really you want to have a little space for possible venting anyway. the "imr" 17650s may do the trick since there's no protection strip, or if that's a new aw17670 maybe the vendor will let you exchange it for another. several aw resellers will do this.

Im using the Black aw 17670 and found that with the silver label on was a squeeze, and could only remove battery by removing button cap and using a pencil or something to push battery out, took the silver label off and now fits perfect and slides out normally when need to swap battery.

Sounds like Im lucky with my batteries, although maybe adding a little tolerance to the next batch may be a good idea.

Mine are the same way. Took the sticker off and they slide in and out of the tube with no help.
