Hello, I'm just wondering what, if any, steps I could or should take to make sure my GGTB has the best conductivity possible.

I see there are some bottom springs available for some models... not sure which are fit for the GGTB or if they will help minimize resistance.

Any tips are welcome, thanks so much for your help, and apologies if this is a silly question.

+3 for the noalox and brass spring.

another idea,

Pure silver conducto-lube like this would be perfect too.this one would be expensive but there are cheaper versions out there

Conducto-Lube Silver Lubricant

[edit] Like imeo just posted I don't use anything on my GGTB as the conductivity is fine but nothing wrong with lubing the threads :D

I would guess a thick lube like you mention Hope or Vaseline and NO-OX-ID "A" special would help prevent sand getting in but to clean you'd need a de-greaser and cleaning can be a PIA :D

[edit] that said if I was in a sandy region I'd put my PV in a condom and secure with a rubber band around the mouthpiece, tho Id vape it discreetly :lol:

Can you use alcohol wipes to clean up the GGTS (nickel-plated) or would that ruin the finish? Also...what's the final word on Noalox for GGTS threads? Is it better just to polish it every now and then or use Noalox? I'm getting some pretty early tarnishing on my nickel GGTS and it looks really bad since it's so shiny. Vapes amazing, but I don't want to polish this thing every other day.

Noalox: check.

As for tarnish, I wipe my nickel plated down with a trombone lacquer cloth designed to keep a trombone from tarnishing. It won't remove the tarnish, but constantly keeping it fingerprint free has kept the tarnish away. I'm planning on a leather grip for it in the future :)

My apologies if I am bringing this up in the wrong spot, but is there an estimated date for the next shipment of GGTS to the US or what models they will be?
