hi imeo,

i received my GGTB today and it is indeed a very nice little device :)

im a little puzzled though as you said it could take any type of battery except the 18650 but im struggling to find any batteries in my cupboard that actually fits it...........and i have a lot of batteries! lol all the ones i have are fatter than what the GGTB is so obviously wont fit..........the only one i can find so far that fits is a 14500

i still have a lot more batteries to try so im sure i will find others that fit too, but it might be wise to let people know exactly what batteries will fit rather than saying "any" battery ;)

still, its very nice though and i cant believe how light it is! :D

cheers

scott

Scott, I never said that GGTB takes all batteries. I said that it can take 1x16340, 1 x14500, 1x14650, 2xcr2, 2x16340, and MAYBE 17650. I also said that it can fit all batteries that are up to 16,9mm in width maybe 17mm too.

ps.... I bought the 1100mah 17650 AW and its 16,9mm. It fits very nice inside. But anyway I am glad you make this post because maybe other people thought like you.:)

I am glad you got it and you like it mate!

sorry guys, that was me being a plonker!.............there was a very small metal burr right on the inside of the GGTB at the top which was stopping the batteries going on.

i can now confirm that these batteries fit nicely:-

1 x 14500 - 3.7v
1 x unprotected high drain AW 14500 - 3.7v
2 x CR123A - 3v
1 x 16340 - 3.6v
2 x 16340 - 7.2v
2 x 15266 - 7.2v
2 x 15270 - 6v
2 x CR2 - 6v

sorry for the confusion! lol

cheers

scott

ps.........to anyone else who has the same issue, to remove a burr just give it a light rub with some fine sand paper........10 second job ;)

I read and respond to every post before reading the entire thread so I didnt saw this post in time scott. All are ok:)

lol, no worries mate :)

but i should point out that you did say this:-

With the telescopic faulse battery it can take any kind of batteries exept the 18650.

im not trying to be argumentative mate i promise! its just that i read that and imagined it would be able to take the same combination of batteries as the GGTS.

and yeah, i wrote that post before realising there was a tiny piece of metal burr that was preventing the batteries going in. but 10 seconds with a bit of sandpaper and all was good again :D lol

cheers

scott

I think that later I correct that post. 1 min to find my post!! :D

ps...... But this post is also right. It can take all of them exept 18650 (and 18350 too)

ps..... I correct the post you told me Scott. I also checked this thread and I didnt found my post about 17650 batteries, so you are right. But I have post for sure the right info. It was on Italian forum. Maybe Lord can confirm this.

Hi Scott, at the time of adding the GGTB to the site I was also under the impression that the telescopic section was included as standard. Sorry for the confusion here mate, it was an honest mistake.

I will have professional photos uploaded to the site later in the week for everyone to see.

Glad to see it arrived safely and your enjoying it, its a great little unit :).

Am using my GGTB with a 901LR and it's vaping like a dream with the 14500 batteries I had to hand. . . . . once I'd sorted out what way round that false battery goes. Doh me!

What a nifty little touch that is for battery versatility!

Very lightweight at 66grams, so it won't weigh down my already considerably weighty handbag.

I've taken a picture of it alongside my GGTS and have also learnt how to add foto's on here!

As always, huge thanks to Krom for his immaculate service - always a pleasure dealing with him and of course to Imeo for designing it in the first instance.

The batch that I will send to my sellers tomorow is mat nickel-plated bronze. For one more time the units are very few. I will send 15 units to each seller and I am preparing the big batch immediately after this shipment.

Also maybe I will make it 1mm fatter so the AVS for it will have the same diameter. I want to make an AVS for ggtb that will hold enough liquid, and 1mm more in diameter gives 1 ml more quantity inside AVS.
