I'm having a bit of a problem! I'm using an UltraFire WF-188 with Tenergy RCR123A 3.0v 750mAh LiFePo4 batts. I've only had them a few days and 2 of the batts when put on the charger show green, but when checked with my volt meter, they are only at 1.2v. So, are the batts bad or is the charger messing up??

The Tenergy batts are of a different chemistry make up and should not be used on that charger and only the Tenergy charger. Search around the Tenergy chargers are under $10 bucks I believe

you can use that charger, as long as it's set to 3.2V and 300mA and the connection is solid...but the real problem is likely that your batteries have been over-discharged, they should never meter below 2.2V...and likely won't be able to charge properly anymore. LiFePO4 chemistry can take a lot of abuse and bounce back, but 1.2V is well beyond that threshold. the tenergy batteries discharge quickly because they are always being overstressed from each and every atomizer out there. if you're in the market for good LiFePO4 cells get the AW LiFePO4, and if you want to do 7.4V with any and every atomizer get the AW IMR16340s. you can continue to use the wf-188 charger with these other batteries if you like its behavior otherwise.

Just ordered a few from ikenvape...now the wait, grrr. Thanks for the help guys!!

You can't go wrong with the AW IMR's, I personally been using them for many months, tried many others but still comes down to what i felt is most reliable and holds its power very well. I use IMR16340's day and night becouse of the size and i am pleased. Yes i do want to try out some of buGG's and MWA's links also, but for now you made the right choice IMO....

Must have been a bad batch because I have also done some test with the AW 3V compared to the Tenergy and find the AW to pack more of a power punch then the Tenergy's. I just switched to the new Redilast in there 18650 series and find these babies to be better then all the rest so far, I also heard Panasonic is coming out with an 18650 that has 3000mAh and this will be the ultimate 18650 since Panasonic is the true leader and AW's are basically Panasonic anyway.

The Battery industry in general is improving everyday with new chemistry's and quality built power cells that just keeps getting better and better. it will be neat to see how far we get this year and next with battery power, there is a ton of money being invested into this industry right now, especially in the car industry, the Gov't has finally smartened up and is backing the Auto manufacturers in supplying Automobiles that run on a power cell instead of having to be a prisoner of the mid east oils supply, look for this market to continue to improve and improve not only in cars but in everything. I purchased a load of Panasonic stock last Aug for $12 and thought it was a super buy and still think its a cheap purchase today.

From what I understand the Redilast 2900 and the AW 2900 both use the Panasonic cells so really the only difference is the protection circuit and wrapper. I'm not so sure 100mAh of additional power on the "new" battery would even make it worth while to switch.

In almost 2 years of selling e-Cigs, the biggest problem I see is people continually chasing the newest stuff down. Find something that works, vape, and relax ;)

I've got two sets of AW 3v's on order...I'll post some results next week.

Rob,
Congrats on the new office/warehouse. I am happy that ya found a place and I wish ya nothing but the best there, you deserve it.

I have also found that the Tenergy lifepo4 outperform the AW Lifepo4 ....AW does a lot of things great, there IMR bats rock, a lot of there li-ion rock.....compared to others.... but lifepo4 seems to be there week spot.... in my opinion...

Thanks guys! We've been looking for a couple months. We had a couple good retail spots eyeballed but the lease management guy was a total pain to get ahold of. He also wanted at least a 60 month lease term which scared the hell out of me with the FDA case pending. I finally to said to hell with him. Then we found this place...and although it's more geared towards office/warehouse than retail, locals can still come in and check stuff out or pick up orders. We will be able to better organize our stock and have room to bring more stuff in.

When we built this house were in now we built offices for Michelle and I but it was for our other business which is service based and doesn't have inventory. Our house has been turned into a warehouse and it's just getting kinda old.

Once we get stuff setup at the new place I'll post some pictures. I've even thought about doing a live webcam feed of our stockroom/order packing area! Then you guys can REALLY stalk the site waiting for GG's to show up! LOL

Nope I dont think so on the live webcam. Unless you dont want me to pack orders. You know how I hate cameras, webcams, etc.......lol

I am looking forward to the space to organize better though.
