I'm a little confused, and just want to clarify a couple of things.

1) Can I use any atomizer I want in my current AFS V2 (assuming I have the correct adapters, O-rings, etc)?
2) Do they need to be modified before I do (drill hole?)

I'd love to give my cartomizers a try as they are the same size and threads as the 901, so the o-rings and threads would fit with the current AFS V2. I was under the impression I was required to use the specially modified GG V2 iAtties.

Thanks

until I receive the AFS I am enjoying my cartomizers, can fill them up with 1.4 ML juice, on 3.7V (AW 18490, HD batties) they run very nice......perfect taste, loads of vape and nice throat hit. No leaking and cheap as hell.

Now put another 6ml of juice around them and go for along long time without touching it.... The throat hit is just amazing and the flavor is also plum wonderful. You NEVER reach that dry taste at all with the AFS on a cartomizer. And I was using it on 6v also. I must say it was doing much better at 5v though. The vapor was just a little too warm for my liking at 6v. And yes I drilled a hole in it....

You need the iatties for now friend until I make the AFS update for any 901 atomizer

Thanks, I got a bunch of cartomizers lying around so I will give this a shot. I'm assuming that just a single drill hole will do it. I notice the iAttys for the AFS V2 have a new larger diameter hole, and also the old small hole). I'm assuming the small hole is not needed is probably just the hole that used to be used for air-flow.

Edit: Just saw your post imeo, so I guess I have a couple of choices. Wait for the update or get out my drill ;-)

Keith,

were exactly do you drill the hole and what diameter? Also, you say 5V, is that with the PT or with batties, if so which one's?

cheers!

Well I'm kinda disappointed now. I've been waiting to buy an AFS until the AFS got all of it's issues fixed. That's why I bought the v2! I thought this was an end all!

I really love it by the way! But now I hear talk about an update for the AFS that allows any 901, and possible 501's,801's, and cartos. I wish I would of known this, because it was financially really difficult for me to make the AFS V2 purchase, and I can't afford another $100+..........

Not sure why an adapter wouldn't work.
