yes: get the colored aluminium, we can have all kind of good stuff with that!!!
I think anodizing is done after machining, so it would be another step in the manufacturing process.
Imeo could offer a product range of customized replacement parts. The buyer could select which part, and which color they want it to be. I also really like the idea of custom laser engraving, where the buyer could submit a bitmap of what they want the laser to burn. Both of those options can go a long way to personalize the buyer's GG, which can create an even stronger bond between the owner and the GG, and make it more like a prized trophy.
Maybe the factory could make each piece as they are ordered, or maybe Imeo could take pre-orders, instead of the factory making many of each color. That would keep overhead costs down.
If Imeo doesn't want to go down that path, all you really have to do is look in your area for an industrial park. In all major cities there are companies that do anodizing and laser engraving, who are willing to do custom work for a pretty penny.

No the GLV2 has the atomizer on the side of the body and the activation button on top of the body. Looks like your feeder would block the button without some kind of atomizer extension. How about an off center feeder?

I found a couple local shops that do custom work, I'll look into it. If my GG becomes unusable, I'll just have to buy another one.
we have kicked around the whole anodized thing till it is a dead issue now... waste of time. You would HAVE to machine the threads after you anodized it. It would be so scratched up after that no body would want it. I work with anodized aluminum in the marine industry and know how easy it scratches.
