I know I should post this in the GG section, but was a lurker for the first few months and didn't realize I need to post some stuff in the new users forum before I could post elsewhere. Sorry ;-)

I think I am getting the hang of the AFS:

1. "Closing" the adjustable draw will draw more liquid into the atty.
2. Opening it does the opposite, allowing more air, less liquid.
3. Finding the "sweet" spot is what keeps liquid out of my mouth and a good vape going. If I have the draw too "closed" I a draw too much liquid into the atty (which ends up in my mouth...). Too open and the atty doesn't get enough liquid (no vapor, burnt taste, etc...)

I think I have the above pretty much down, and can adjust the draw pretty well as needed.

The question I have is I still am getting juice on occasion out of what appears to be the "draw" holes. (At least it appears to be that area...)

Is it the same adjustments mentioned above that cause this to happen? (I have a harder time envisioning exactly what is going inside the AFS to cause this than I do the juice in my mouth) It does seem that if I adjust the draw more open, then the leaking stops(?).

Thanks for any advice. Love the AFS so far. Once I can get it stop dripping on my shirt it will be perfect. (And if I have to live with a couple spots of cafe mocha stain on my shirt, I can do that also ;-)

If anyone wants to repost this in the existing GG AFS V2 thread, please feel free. (If it's appropriate)

Thanks

Hi vsot,it doesn't take long before you can post in the GG Forum. So i thought i'd pop here and ask how long you've been vaping? answer that and you'll have 2 posts ;) Say hi to a few other new members and it soon builds up :)

Thanks ckc,

I'm pretty much a newbie, only been vaping for a couple of months. Started with joye 510 and moved to the GGTS within a couple weeks. Love it.

I wish I could say I'm completely analog free, but I still feel a little strange vaping outside with the smokers when I'm out... Still pull out the analogs at that point. Figure I'll get over that at some point.

Was refilling cartomizers until I got the AFS. I have to admit I'm none too neat & organized, so I probably got more juice all over the place refilling those than the little drops I get occasionally out of the AFS ;-)

There we go. Post #2 :)

You can cut a ring of fluval material and place it around the brass atomizer connector covering the 4 holes in the brass piece and it will help with your leakage issue.

oh yeah or you can just remember to close up the adjustable draw portion of the AFS and it wont leak.. Hope that helps

Thanks for all the recommendations-- I also want to mention I got immediate attention from imeo via PM (since as I discussed with him I can only post in this forum, and he can only post in his ;-) Going to give all of the recommendations a try tomorrow.

And I just want to reiterate that I'm happy with the AFS so far, I'm just trying to get all the advice I can get it to it work as good as it can be. Please don't take anything I say as a negative, just assume I'm a both a newbie and relatively "rough" with my vaping equipment.

Thanks

Imeo said he'd pm'd you :)

I have the GG Grant and a Trans but the Grant is the one i use all the time(being female and tiny! ).

On a night out i still take the analogues with me,other than that i vape all the time,i'm quite happy to switch between them now i know i don't have to 'have' a ciggy! At the beginning i had to have 36mg to get off them, now i'm happy on 16mg or even less.

At a post of 5 i think you may be able to post in the GG Forum now.:)

Hi there, I'm new to the vaping world as well. I smoked analog cigarettes for 20 years and have not even craved one for 3 weeks. I'm looking into getting a GGTS but am having trouble justifying the $200 price tag. I know it's super sexy but is it really worth it? I have not read one bad thing about it so maybe I should just take the leap!

This is post #1 :)

Completely agrees with Ckc & others -if you can afford it, buy the best & forget the rest! I've been using a GG Grant for almost a year & it still works as perfectly as the day I bought it. Last week I bought a GGTS & just love the versatility of it. It's like having half a dozen e-cigs in one, so not really expensive if you think about it :D

I agree-- I love the GGTS, especially the ability to choose many different battery sizes, voltages, etc. I was quickly tiring of recharging my 510 batteries all the time and on the GGTS when I'm not using the pass-thru a 18650 will last me (at least) all night.

P.S. Just wanted to say that the initial issue I posted about in this thread (leaking) has pretty much gone away thanks to advice over in the GG forums.

Thanks

Lol, sounds like you are using your GGTS in the same way as I am :D Love the very long battery life of the 18650 (plus fairly certain I'm getting more than 3.7v from it)Mine are easily lasting over 24 hours of heavy vaping. And I so love the perfect 5v from the GGTS USB adapter kit :)
