I hope to see some new 5.2 ohm atties available around here. I love to vape 7.4v but only a few sources for the high voltage. Im hoping VK's will carry some in the near future. The ones ive been getting lately work very well in AFS but dont last long...
If Rob hasn't got them, you're of course welcome to buy my VHV ones - they are usually around this resistance although i've specced the newer ones in a little higher than this.

Lisa, what are the ohm ratings on the 901 HV and VHV atoms that you also sell?
Hiya Urbanite - I prefer not to go into details about the resistances of my atomisers in public as I have them made specially for me.
However, if you are genuinely interested in purchasing some and would like to know what to expect prior to buying them, please contact me privately.

What is all this talk about drilling holes or using a hole punch? This is confusing! Just use normal 901 or 510 Attys and just drill them...

I want a Atty that will work with the new AVS for GGTS out of the box? Is this something to do with the Chinese not making the correct design? Only some people wish to drill holes ect.. and for the rest of us?

Cheers Blue

you only have to drill or punch holes in cartomisers... normal atties work without any of that...

I went through a too many 5 ohm (VHV and HV) 901's at 7.4V, I've now gone to 6.4V and I'm a lot happier. These attys need to be increased to about 5.5 ohms as I do not see any difference between the HV and VHV attys.
6V is more reliable for most people, I have upped the resistance of my VHV atomisers recently so they perform even better at very high voltages. The restrictions were due to Chinese production methods......

Exactly as urbanite said, use any 901 atomiser straight in the AVS - no drilling required.

Only cartomisers require extra holes.

Right, I am using an East-Mall 901 HV (EM9) atomizer at 6V with the AFS2 for a few weeks now without any modification.
It took a bit longer than an iAtty to 'break in' but after that I was fully satisfied.

With an iAtty you are sure it will work well directly. With others you might need to test some before finding the best one for your usage.
