I just received my 510 connectors and swapped it for the 901 I was using.

I grabbed a couple of Stainless 510 atomizers from VK when I ordered the other stuff and it works ok at 6volts and 3.7.

BUT- I am new to 510 attys and I don't know if there are better ones to use.
I also have batteries coming for 7.4volts, so I'll be trying that out as well.

So there is my question- what atomizers to use with the 510 connector in my GGTS/AVS at 3 different voltages:
3.7
6
7.4

Thoughts and preferences?

there are a few atomizers that are higher in ohm rating which makes them more suitable for 6V+ vaping.
for 3.7 volts you best shot is 1.5 to 1.7 ohm (low resistance) works well & plenty of vapor & th
6 volt will work best with 4.2 & 4.5 ohms
7 volts + a 5.2 ohms will be needed & possibly the best vaping in my opinion.
hope that helps you

Guys, we hear several things but we have to make a good research first. We dont follow like sheeps, right?

Ok, are they better or its a rumor again like all those around ECF? Whats the difference between another atty and a 306 atty?

I think there is a big difference between the 306 & 510 I have never burnt a 306 yet, I put them through the works too and just cant fry one Imeo. I think it comes down to personal preference for all vapers too since everything is so subjective in this vaping process we all love

I have the Cisco 306LR Imeo ... it makes almost the same vapor as my 801 5.2ohm @ 7.4ohm...

The 306 shares the same thread pattern as the 510 ... I would like to make to work ... because I can run the avs with a 18650 battery be good for days ... LOL, that would be awesome, not to worry about battery charge or juice for 3 days... just awesome

So we have mwa that says that they last long, thats good. About vapor and hit I dont think that any atomizer makes a difference as they are all made with same philosofy. A resistance that burns liquid. Different than a carto with wool inside of course. Ok, lets see other opinions :)

Imeo,

Good Attys and set up the correct way at the exact ohm to voltage to Watt rating is a world of difference my friend. If you made a GGTS/AVS that was variable voltage you would control the vaping world for this exact reason. Dialing in the Atty and a good one to the perfect spot matching the watts and juice is a killer vape. There are Atty's and then there are some super Atty's, I particularly prefer the super Atty's myself and dialing them in to the exact spot where your running them to peak performance with juice delivery. THIS IS MY VAPE NOW and it is the best of all vapes, put a VV GGTS/AVS together with a stainless steel or especially that delrin tank I want and it would be the PV of ALL PV'S,,,, just my 2c anybody care to give there opinion on this be my guest I would love to join the discussion.!!!

Does anyone use painted attys in their AVS? I just got a LR 901 Cisco atty, but it's painted black. Anyone have any experience in this possible issue? I don't want to fire it up until I hear back from you guys...

NO,,,Take a piece of sand paper and sand off the paint Zaiden, chrome Attys are best in the tank, as some liquids break down the paint on the Attys so it best to use the non painted ones, a little sand paper will take it right off, then take a rag and wipe it off with some pga to clean it real well, just what I would do If I where gonna run that Cisco, only takes a minute or two

I can attest to the fact that SHORT TERM use hasn't bother the painted 901 attys I have.
I try to get chrome/unpainted but I have a pair of black and one white one.

They have only seen 4 or 5 days use each, all of it in an AVS tank but there is no sign of degradation in the paint.
Yet.

I have heard of paint stripping though, from various juices and in various devices.
Not certain I want to sand 'em off either though- lots of little tiny paint and grit particles that way.
But that's me and I may change my mind next month. ;)

i typically only use stainless steel or chrome attys but primarily because i like the look, but i did use a couple of old black 510s in the AVS off and on for a couple weeks with no "visible" effects. i thought all attys were painted or coated to some extent, and none of them actually bare metal. maybe i'm wrong though, but even if this is the case i could see how the additional paint layer could chip, leech, or disintegrate into the juice faster or more readily than the "stainless" versions. nicotine is corrosive and some juices will have a greater impact than others. the way i see it, it's a crap shoot with the atty in terms of materials involved in construction and how they play out wrt juice composition, saturation, and inhalation safety anyway. if you feel better about using a different color atty, do it, and save the black ones for dripping....or you could sand the paint off, rub it down real well with alcohol and give it a go.

The only we have for now is that those 306 atties last longer and thats only from mwa, nothing else. Of course there are atties from other companies that last very long. Atties vary either. I havent seen something that shows that 306 are better in some way from other atties. I dont see any real proof here yet
