As many of you can probably recall, I've never said much about the AFS/AVS. This is because I don't care for 901 atomizers anymore and it made no sense for me to use one just for the AFS/AVS. I also didn't have time to drill holes in cartomizers and make other little mods that people here have devised to use 510's. Cherish your free time!

Along comes the 510 connector.

It seemed for about 4-5 days it sat on my desk just staring at me. My thoughts everytime I looked at it was, "Maybe tomorrow little guy, I'm just too busy for you right now."

So tomorrow finally came about a week and a half ago.

My first attempt was like many others'...unscrew this, put this on, tighten this up, screw this back on, twist that 5 times, suck a few times, ahhhhhh crap why is liquid all over the place?!??!!?!? RTFM Rob. RTFM means "Read the fine manual", or watch Imeo's video on how to use it.

Ahhhh, so I need to back this little pin out a few screws -before- putting the atomizer in, Ooook.

So back to unscrew this, put this on, BACK OUT THE CENTER PIN, tighten this up, screw this back on, twist that 5 times, suck a few times, ahhhhhhh THAT'S NICE!

So, I used it for about a week until I finally killed my poor little 510 atomizer from running it at 6 volts. The AVS seemed to leak a little if I set it on its side with the control ring open, but otherwise it's worked flawlessly. I finally got around tonight to replacing that 510 atty that was going out and I'm back in AVS heaven once again.

Nice piece Imeo!

Nice work Rob. But I will tell you an easy way to put atomizer inside.

No reason to unscrew the small pin of the connector, leave it as it comes so you will avoid any leakage. Just screw the atomizer on the connector and close the liquid control ring. Then open it by 1/8 of a full turn for a start and put it inside AVS as usual. I will make a new video for it.:)
