GGTS Buttons

There has been a fair amount of talk regarding these lately. I'm hearing a lot about Brass, SS, Round, Hex, 2011 & 2012 buttons etc...

Being a newcomer to the GGTS, could the people with more experience take me through all the various types, please? Pictures would be a big bonus! Many thanks in advance.

GGTS Picture thread!

You got the old ones,full brass with round buttons and flat buttons GGTB style

Semi brass ones with only the locking ring

New style full stainless or nickel

There are about six variations that I have noticed on the GGTS. Maybe more.

Differences in button top, metal, thread amount, checkered knurling, vertical knurling, no knurling, fixed drop, adjustable drop, hex contact post head, round contact post head, just to name some.

Look at old pics and you will start seeing the variances.

The one on the right looks flat to me in the picture but it is round also.

Pretty sure that is a carto in a completely SS Depth Charge

I'm not Silent but I do believe that is the Depth Charge carto tank in all stainless. It's from the same shop that makes the Torpedo tank. The Depth Charge is available with a polycarb or steel tank tube.

My bad! Silent posted right below you. I actually just told my friend to get a depth charge for his stealth bc he got tired of dripping into a lr. Too bad he got the clear tank, that SS window looks awesome

Totally confused myself again...Silent, thanks for posting pic, and major, thanks for posting the info. One of the nicest looking carto tanks I've seen. The red orings on the clear one look pretty slick btw...
