aw bummer, they are out of stock of the flat tops and hoosiervapes is out of the switch. I lost my spring in the switch assembly and can't find a spring to fit it. Anyone know where i can get one or what i can take apart to get a spring that is the same size?

Edit: by the way this is an awesome mech. I have a AGA 2 on top with an 18650 inside. I tweeked it by sanding the bottom battery post to the brass and the end of the button to the brass. I also sanded the top cap battery connector. This thing kicks like a ...... horse as I posted on another thread. Awesome look and vape and heavy in hand with the AGA 2 and 18650 installed.

For the price there is nothing better at present.

Well Folks, polishing is DONE! I took guidance from Studiovap on post # 374 and a Dremel Tool and worked for quite a few hours getting all of the Gold, Chrome and Copper off of the GG Clone down to polished Brass. Got to say it is pretty, but it is a fingerprint magnet now.



If you are going to try this, please read Studiovap's posts around #374, take your time, and use a polishing wheel if you have one.

You can give it a brushed finish with one of these Dremel 320 Grit Fine Abrasive wheel. I used this first on mine to remove all of the finishes, but if you do it lightly, it leaves a brushed look. After I finished with this I used a polishing wheel with green fine abrasive to polish it to a gleaming finish. If you stop at the first step you will have the look you want.

Any "brushed finish" will take all the chrome off. It's a very thin plating on these. You need an all stainless mod to have silver finish options. If you brush this one you'll have brushed brass.

Not if you use the attachment I posted above. The chrome on mine was quite thick (I can't guarantee others will be). It took me quite awhile to remove all of the chrome, then copper and down to the brass. If you brush the chrome very lightly with the 320 grit brush, it will make a brushed chrome. If you apply too much pressure for too long ethebull is correct, you will see copper, then brass. Good Luck

So got the flat top here it is! Looks great and fit and finish are perfect Smooth threads and RSST looks awesome on it and RSST sits flush and is just the smallest bit wider. Sunny Vaping shipping was fast and good packaging .

I order this top at same time Vash as yourself..... guess i should look for tracking info, i dont have this top cap yet. I did get a few drippers from fasttech... not what i was expecting. Into the gift drawer they go..

yaa, chrom kts from fasttech under 20 bux, spare head 12 bux... nice pocket mech for 35 bux, xtra head... its the best bang 4 my i want to see how it looks with an AGI, hope to find out tomorrow. Will post pix as soon as i get the gold flat top.

I just saw the same mod, all chrome for 80 bux at a b&m store in Fullerton CA. I walked in, just looking for...... Saw there K100 and K101 in the front display, there was the chrome chi chi clone next, top shelf mech. Great price from fasttech, post how you enjoy the device on arrival please. I just got 2 drippers from fasttech, they look very (VERY) nice.

Which drippers didja get? I got a little Squid clone (even the fairly chintzy stock coil was passable) and now I'm wanting something larger to sit on my mechs. I don't see a clone of the larger Octopus on there. I'm considering the ERA clone with adjustable airflow from sun-vapers....I don't even know where to start with the IGO-whatevers. I don't even have enough dripping experience to know which features I'm interested in. I guess I want the largest capacity, and I guess that means I want a dual-coil dripper with some kind of tank. But I don't know which of those would work/look right on the China GG or my K100....
