Well I got mine today - ordered from a vendor in Thailand - and he added in a fee Phoenix rba. I am impressed. So for $35 I got a CCTS and a Phoenix. Will throw some pics into the thread when I have them. Busy vaping with it right now.

How's the build quality? If it's good I may bite and get one myself :)

I've only had this one a few hours - appears to be chrome but doesn't feel very heavy. Just trying with an 18650 now and still feels light compared to my other mods. The threads are smooth - which is good. Seems pretty sturdy. I don't know who made it - the vendor site just said it was from China. It has 4 grooves at the top for airflow and I'm finding the vivi nova works fine with it. Also has 3 holes on the ring bit down further on the top piece (ring bit is an advanced technical term I picked up somewhere), not sure if those are vent holes or what. And three holes down by the fire button which must be vent holes.

Edit: A day later and I realise it is not lighter than some of my mods. It's not really heavy or anything, but its chrome and is heavier than my Smoktech ss Zmax is. Still a comfortable weight though.

If you take the top cap off and look through the holes on the knurled bit, you'll discover that they're battery vent holes as well as the three that are by the switch. It took me a while, when I first got it, to see where those holes were going to ;-)

I've got the same problem sporadically. I'm just using mini vivi novas but upon occasion the button will heat up. I'd read that it could be caused by a short but in my case, the same vivi will work fine on an ego so it shouldn't be shorting. If you find a solution, I'd appreciate it if you passed it on.

This is not a short problem. It is poor contact - switch to pin. I can't tell you how to correct it until mine arrive in a few weeks. However it should be a simple fix. Make sure your lock is all the way off for maximum depression and make sure the switch base is screwed all the way into the tube.

Light/limited/loose contact causes heat to build at that point.

ETA - could also be poor contact between the switch pin and outer switch area as the switch is simple grounding the negative to the tube.

I have zero issue with mine..working flawlessly regardless of which battery config I use

Well I don't know what I was thinking yesterday when I said mine was lighter than my other mods. I had been driving for about 2 hours in the summer heat just before so maybe being able to sit down and vape seemed like it was lighter. It's not really heavy or anything, but its chrome and is heavier than my Smoktech ss Zmax is. Still a comfortable weight though.
And I got it from a vendor in Indonesia - but must have been thinking about a Thai one when I posted.
