brass on posts has too much hassle wr. And it doesnt offer something noticeable buddy

True....if anyone is interested in the numbers, compare the resistance between materials; there are online charts that list the differences.

Clean materials and solid contacts make the biggest difference in performance. I like to setup my passthru, swap out button/switches, and read the amps. Because everything in the GG device itself is constant the only variable is the changed part. Since any GGTS can be converted to a PT differences in materials can be observed...I've found the differences to be so small, in practical terms, none exist.

Who brought this dinosaur back from the grave??

While yer at it dig me up a T-rex. I'm needing a new pet :D

Brass while being more conductive than SS is much more work as Imeo has said, since oxidization quickly forms on the surface and reduces that conductivity dramatically.

SS while being less conductive does not oxidize or tarnish and is much more maintenance free.

Take a vape off a freshly preened and cleaned GGTS version 1 or 2 and then off a SS GGTS. You will notice a difference, but not for long without reg maintenance.

This I do not understand since the SS bottom post in my SSGGTS clearly has ARC marks which eventually leads to a hot button and loss of power/no firing. This was an issue both before and after the kick. I ended up having to usually on a weekly basis, pull my bottom post and clean off the arc marks and polish the surface. Same thing seems to be true of my button where it contacts the post. I had issues with it until I stripped the nickel plating from the surface and got to the brass underneath.

Serp. I don't know how often you have to clean the surface of your post but I notice the arc lines there sometimes after only a day or two of vaping. It doesn't really affect things for a good week or so.
