Ok, I know my GGTS cant break, but its dead. I cant get it to work.....Help.

Atomizer is ok, battery is ok, but it wont do anything.

I have cleaned it thoroughly and don't know what else to do.

Has anyone encountered this?

Thanks

Hi Fanly my friend:)

ok, you said its clean.

1) How many days you use it?
2) Do you have bought the fuse?
3) is spring on the small brass axis of the front cap in place?
4) Do you screw the telescope properly?
5) Do you have the spring button or the magnet button?
6) Is button pressed ok or its very soft?
7) Is the brass axis of the front cap black in any place of its surface?
8) Is the base of the button black in any place?
9) Does atomizer's center pole touch the head of the moving center pole of GGTS?

ok friend. About 4) and 9)

4) tight a little more the telescope or unscrew it a little and screw it again

9) Take off the atomizer cap and push totally the moving center pole until it meets the polygonal nut. Then screw an atomizer and look if the center pole is moving away from the polygonal nut

ps......... please check all the threads of the GGTS. They have to be clean. And check the internal threads of the first big tube that telescope screws in. And as crash test said check the moving center pole where battery touches if its clean too

Still not working, Im going into a deep depression and 6volt withdrawal. I have washed it, polished it, not a dark spot on it. Tried new atomizers, different batts. Yes Imeo the polygon nut moved so it lines up. I have tried everything.

Havent had a problem with it since I got it. HELP

Lol, I cant live without my GGTS. Im spoiled.

Thanks for the help

Bristow, Ok.
I know this can be very frustrating but the problem is very simple to fix. It is just finding it that is the issue. If you have done everything else check the button. When you push it does it hit the center pole inside? That is the only thing left except for cleaning the little pin that goes into the attie. Just don't give up. You will find it and fix it. I wish I could help you more.

Fanky do you have a multimeter? If you do you can isolate the problem alot easier.

Harpo could you explain how to do that? I wouldn't have a clue how to figure that out on my own. I do own one but I am not very knowledgeable on how to use it other than testing an attie or battery. :(

you tried 510 and 801 atomizer too?
When I ask if something moved I meant the rounded nail against the polygonal nut when you screw tyhe atomizer, not the polygonal itself. If nail moved then atomizer touch the other end of nail.
Sorry that I ask again but are all threads of GG clean? Telescope threads, internal threads of the big tube, internal and external threads of the 6 volt sleeve and internal threads of the atomizer cap?

Can you sand a little the button's cap brass axis and the button's base? And sand a little the moving nail under the polygonal nut? Also try to totally remove the spring from the button's cap brass axis.

And did you make button adjustments lately? If yes, please check if button touch the button's cap brass axis first and not the locking nut

Thought I would just throw this out there....since there was a thread on it a week or so ago....Did you check the inside of the button for dirt and grime. No harm in checking it too.......

Good point......I have found that grime and dust and dirt do get in there and can without a doubt effect your vaping and firing of the switch. So its good to check all connections and switch and clean them all on a regular basis...otherwise your vaping results seem to go down.

I went through an hour of my first GGTS not firing and it was the button.

The two pieces that make of the button's "plunger" loosened up and didn't allow it to make proper contact.

I tightened them up and it worked for a bit... I also had to adust the set nut on the button housing (I had to reposition the height of the post). It took a few tries, but now I'm a button-tweaking master :D

Is this an unusual event. I have had 3 different mods and one of them I had so much trouble I got a refund. One of the others I keep having problems with the switch (very aggravating) and the other I had to get the adaptor replaced (but working good now)

I am considering ordering a GG but I don't want something that requires a lot of maintenance or problems (I have had enough)How much maintenance does this require and how often. I prefer one that is trouble free that doesn't require a lot of work.

How big is the GG telescopic storm. Could you compare it to the size of another mod or compare it to the Super 6, Chameleon or Little chuck. Which is the size more comparable to these.

I really prefer the size to be similar to the super 6.

Bristow, Ok.
The GG will need cleaning. It is impossible to say how often this has to be done because It seems that it will depend a lot on where you live. I like to keep my GG shining so I clean it about once a week. It has to have internal cleaning too not just to keep it pretty. It is very easy to do any GG maintenance yourself. The size will depend on the batteries you choose to use.
