Originally, when the first Odysseus was released, it came with a 510 base that had a little bulge on the 510 connector as you can see in the following pictures:

That bulge leave a very very small gap between the Odysseus and the PV, that didn't like to some, so Imeo make a new 510 base that does not have that little bulge, instead, it has channels on the base (to allow airflow) so it sit flush on the PV:

That channels on the new 510 base do not allow to use the airflow control on the GGTS, with the adapters, the Odysseus with sit flush on the GGTS, but the air will flow through the channels instead the air holes of the air control feature.

I do not know if the new Odysseus comes with the new 510 base (with air channels) or with the old one.

The old Odysseus 510 base allowed the use of the airflow control GGTS feature with the use of adapters.

So if it comes with the new 510 base, the only way to use Odysseus with the GGTS airflow control feature is using the Odysseus GGTS native base.

Thanks for that Ariel! Damn your education on the GGs shown in some of these threads is amazing. And I saw those new channels in Navy's video from a few days ago, and he had already gotten his new Ody so I'm guessing the new ones will be with the channels. I was planning on hopefully getting the GGTS Ody base anyways to check out that air draw control, thanks again for the info!

I will send the parts with them to make the coils with so you have a good start.
