GGTS Question

can anyone tell me between the ranges of serial# for the GGTS? what serial did the nickel plated start? rev1 GGTS start from what serial and same from rev2. just wanna know this info so when I buy a GGTS thats being sold I know what exactly I am buying.

These are approximate numbers
v1 GGTS (wings towards telescope tube)...was up to about #400
v2 GGTS ("to my friend") went to about 800
then there was a batch of aluminum (wings towards the button) that went out before the nickel about #950-1100
then the nickel (wings towards the button)800-950 & 1100-1500
then ssGGTS (wings towards the button1-300

The only I remember very well is that the first batch of aluminium GGTS was from 1 to 458. I will ask laser on Monday to tell me exactly the serials because I am almost sure he keeps a record about that .

hi studio, wonder if aluminum will also fade like nickel when time goes by? so am i right to say for version 2 there are aluminum and nickel models?

Im new to the game. I really dont know. But i think aluminum will last longer than nickel. cause the base metal of aluminum can be polished and polished without fear of the top metal wearing away

Sorry Rad my bad i was half awake when i read it

FBS even though you can polish the ally ones they will still wear quite quick if you use an abrasive polish

I didnt understand what exactly you are talking about guys but the serial will wear on aluminium too, the material will have the same apearance. As UK said, dont use abrasive polish

That said Auto-sol works a treat on the brass and indeed the steel sections of the SS GG and UFS but do not use on the bottom section of the juice collection tank on the UFS as this is Nickle!!!!

i'm actually referring to the main bodys of the aluminum and nickel. i've seen picture of my friend ggts coating wear off not only the serial. But i guess that's part of wear and tear and how you use it am i right?

Uk so if i want to give my UFS and SS ggts shine i can use auto-sol? just don't abrasive polish it?
