That's a good idea. For the person doing this I have 2011 Nickel GGTS # 1410 and 2011 SS GGTS# 20

Just labelling all the nickel ones might suffice

I have wondered this often myself -- when asked by GG newbs I have appeared clueless but that's a normal state of affairs for me anyway!!!

serials are right but I have a doupt about the "to my friend" edition. It was from 459 but it stopped at 880 or sooner?
The second doupt is if 880-1081 is nickel or aluminium
We can solve easy the first doupt if someone with a number from 800-879 tell us if its GG has the "to my friend" engraving
Also we can solve easier the second doupt if someone with a number between 880-1081 tell us if its GG is aluminium or nickel.

I may be wrong, but it seems that "fatboystudios" owns the 1078... Whos does ask him if it's a nickel or aluminium one ?

studio has 1078 and its aluminium and UK has 902 and its nickel? Thats not possible
looks within the range of what B-rad posted. can anyone confirm this?
I'll just confirm #2 and #122 are wings toward the telescope #387 is wings toward the button aluminum.
#'s 480,483,526 and 632 are all wings toward the button TMF .
#902 wings toward the button nickle
Then #130 and 223 SS GGTS wings toward the button.
Its hard to trace them all as so many have not added them to wiki so getting a clear picture will be hard but the above ties in with what B-Rad says nicely

I just received 904 and 995 and they both are aluminum.
both Aluminum? hmm.
got 886 and that is nickel
