See if your contact points need cleaning.

they are clean, only used usb two maybe three times, just got it last thurs. Im pretty sure there is a short in the cord. moving cord around slightly i got a faint hit once and then nothing. I guess ill give Rob a call tomorrow unless anyone has any other ideas.?

Did you call Rob and did you find out the cause of the problem?

Yes i called Rob, guess im not the only one having problems(short in cord) he said he's having new one's made of better quality and would send one to me once they are in.

You prolly just need to put a new end on the wire that connects to the GG. That is a connector that you can get at Radio Shack. If you can solder you can fix this yourself. I believe it is called a Pannel Mount DC jack type N... Found one on Amazon...

Then you want to solder it like this... One wire to the center pin and one to the outside threads. Then I used some shrink wrap to insulate the whole thing.
