Hey there, so I've got one of those metal chuff caps that I got as a prize from a steep vapors box. Anyways.. I went to go clean it today and noticed its holding the smell of a juice I vaped a while back.. I'm curious is there anyway to soak it to get rid of the smell?

I wouldn't use rubbing alcohol. BUt I do use vodka.
I actually keep a bottle of CHEAP vodka around for quick cleaning soak.

If somethings REALLY nasty I might go dish soap and hot water - but that requires a much more thorough rinsing...
Lol. I knew it was something simple.

Sadly I don't have access to that at the moment.

What about rubbing alcohol?

I'm guessing he higher percentage the better/ faster it'll work.

I wouldn't use rubbing alcohol. I'd probably try the baking soda & vinegar suggestion, or even just baking soda and water.

Yeah, do that ;) a fellow work collegue uses a range of bourbons (alcoholic methinks lol) for his rather OTT collection of attys. I suggested it wasnt a great idea but hes been vaping longer than me and i always gracefully respect the methods of the older generation, even if i dont fully agree with them ;)

Interesting. I should think bourbon would leave a sticky residue. Dark, heavy liquor doesn't strike me as a cleaning liquid, but whatever tootles your puff.

Isn't rubbing alcohol pretty much grain alcohol? I mean the smell similar sometimes lol.

No. One can drink "pure" grain alcohol, if so inclined, but isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol isn't to be taken internally.

^^^ this is supposed to be a picture of a bottle of Everclear. It shows in the preview, but not in the post. Odd.
