I love Christmas! Oh...wait...

So I decided to try making one little mod with an old soldering iron and rusty pair of pliers last week. Now look what happened!

OMG make me sumtin

Seeing all this stuff makes me want to start modding myself. I think i would like to make my own pv, to customize and better myself. Especially with the DIY liquid. Im stressing about the FDA getting ahold of nic juice.

Earlier today before work i saw a universal cellphone power charger thats Voltage regulated with a slide switch. 3-12v... 0_0

First I have to practice using all this crap and learn about mosfets. I'm like a Driver's Ed student sitting in a race car right now. Something is going to get wrecked! Hahahaha.

Speaking of which, anyone know what that black thing is next to the red soldering iron in the lower right of pic 2 (That silver stuff wrapped on it is just crappy, bundled lead-free solder that came with it)? It came with the iron and is made of some hard plastic/resin like stuff but I really don't know what it's for.

A parts pick. Its for holding/manipulating parts when you are soldering. As long as you don't hit it directly with a hot iron, it will hold a part, lead, wire, etc down, without pulling heat away. Hit it directly, and well, you need a new pick.

Sometimes you need to use a device that actually will pull heat awy, but that ain't it.
