noob looking to mod my first battery

i was thinking about 2 seperate LEDs. one wired up when the device is on another when my button is pressed and atty should have power. well see if im confused at all when my parts come in and if i want to mess with it. would kinda be nice to have a battery w/o an LED. would make stealth vaping during college lectures a little easier hehehe.

on another note i failed at getting the battery connections out of that blu battery so i ordered one from madvapes. oops

on a different note. have this led flashlight with a removable 3AAA battery holder. is it modable? here are some pics.

Actually if you search the forums there are quite a few people using a flashlight like that. We just made our first mod tonight...we made the puck and got the parts from RS. We used the connector from standard 510 batts to make it. Let me know how the flashlight mod works out because I am interested in trying something like that too.

yea its a cheap flashlight from autozone. i think when i bought it it was like 2 for 5 bucks

How is the flashlight mod coming along? I have a similar one I was thinking about working on, but thought I'd do a 4aa nico stick in parallel w/ 3.7 v and 1800 mah. I'd like to see how you do your flashlight if you do work on it.

Here's an alternate wiring. I know someone said "I suggest making the outer shell the ground, the inner pin the positive".

The atty don't care.

Much simpler, much neater.
