Yeah it was, but Innokin is not you're average company, they're really community focused. We do give people the option, but none of them take it...That was a HUGE plus with Innokin!
It would make it easier on you guys and the members. I know the language thing comes into play, but a lot of us can read broken English and make sense of it. We like having Reps around, makes it feel like they care about their product and the end customer.Yeah it was, but Innokin is not you're average company, they're really community focused. That's a shame they don't take advantage of it.Yeah it was, but Innokin is not you're average company, they're really community focused. We do give people the option, but none of them take it...
I would think the ratio would be different. There are probably 50 "chatters" per contest and then another 200 entries with low post counts. 70/30 would probably be closer to accurate.It looks like a 50/50 covers most of what people are concerned about;
50% of prizes go to a random draw from every name in the thread (1 entry per person)
50% of prizes go to a random draw from every post in the thread (1 entry per post)
I think the way it was stated is that everyone is included in each draw. One for each name in the thread and one for each post (weighted) No one would be limited to a particular category.I would think the ratio would be different. There are probably 50 "chatters" per contest and then another 200 entries with low post counts. 70/30 would probably be closer to accurate.
I would also consider that if a contest is going on for a week then 7 posts is "normal" and not counted against someone for being in the weighted post count section.
I like that...it balances the odds.I would think the ratio would be different. There are probably 50 "chatters" per contest and then another 200 entries with low post counts. 70/30 would probably be closer to accurate.

Some people work and can't spend the amount of time on the pc as others.Well, I think you're going to get a different idea from each depending on whether they are a chatterer or a "normal" participant. 50/50 is fair since everyone has the choice to be either a chatterer or a "normal" poster.
Personally I had fun when LTN did a quickdraw round. As a "because we want to" round it was great, guessing albums at ECF's secret lair was pleasant, though undoubtedly causes some folks angst (those who can't play because of other activities).Another option for a contest would be the "quick draw" entries. Announce when it would happen a day in advance so it invites more people into the competition.
I've seen people say this and then turn around and make 100+ posts in other threads the same day.Some people work and can't spend the amount of time on the pc as others.
Hey Neil! I think that choosing a random name in the contest thread is the fairest way to give out prizes. of course, you need to post at least once in this thread.
I feel that giving out prizes on post count would encourage people spamming...no?
On another note, people who posts in other threads to help people out with their vaping device could have a better chance to win. Maybe incorporate some kind of ''recommend'' or ''vouch'' button to helpful posts in other key sections of the forum. (I.E: ''rebuildable atomizer systems'' section) This, in turn, would encourage people to help each other out in various sections of the forum along with giving them more chances to win prizes.![]()
NoThat's what I was thinking along the lines of (for at least a few prizes), as we're all in the business of helping fellow vapers - I just wondered if the like button was a good way of getting to the right posters
