I certainly wouldn't! Lol. If you look at the ops post history, a large percentage is about wicking material. Seems to have been a concern since he started.

I can certainly understand the OPs concerns. I'm never absolutely sure that my refrigerator light goes out when the door closes.

I occasionally rinse my mouth with hydrogen peroxide. It's used in lots of toothpastes as well.

I'm sure I've inhaled much more of it from doing that than from vaping.

But what's your point? Why did you post this? Are you hoping that others will quit vaping in droves because of your "insight"?

Or are you just trolling?

Simply stating my thoughts because I felt like it.

xCJack .... I agree with you 100%. You have made some very valid points.

If I was you, I would stop this silly vaping fad ... go back to smoking real cigarettes.

Now, get away from your computer and go out and buy yourself a couple of cartons of full strength Marlboro Reds and start deep inhaling ... Don't worry, that morning cough is just your lungs keeping themselves nice and clean.

Remember what these doctors always tell you about smoking ...

I'll never understand why people are on a forum for a particular subject then feel like they need to tell everybody they are going to quit. Are you wanting us to talk you out of it? Do you just want all of us to drink the Kool Aid with you? If you want to quit then just do it, and go on with your life.

Cry me a river bro. Why did you feel the need to click on the thread once you read the title?

You have a point, but I also wonder ... Why do you feel the need to even start this thread?

Just to vent I guess, because I enjoyed vaping and wanted it to work out for me. Also maybe to see if anyone would chime in with legitimate info about wick materials and safety.

I think alot of people pick up vaping and think that the harm reduction is 100%, however I'm not trying to be Paul Revere and masquerade around telling everyone that wick materials might not be completely safe. I do like to debate though.

but since I don't smoke cigarettes and am not trying to get off smoking tobacco, there is no reason to risk using e-cigs,
Well, there you have it then. Good luck. :)

I'd love to give up certain things too, just to save a few bucks but I'll stick with the few "vices" I do have. Until then, I'll continue to cross the street in busy traffic, drive my car when it's icy and take showers during a thunderstorm with lots of lightening. And of course, I'll keep using my $3 organic cotton balls that god only knows what parts of the human body they have been coming in contact with for decades now.

Sometimes you just gotta live on the edge folks. :D

Like I said, or atleast implied, the risk of vaping is probably extremely miniscule if not void, and obviously scores better than cigarettes. The only point I was making here is that that the harm reduction might not be 100%

This is as much of Paul Revere as I'm going to go in this thread. Is it not wise to occasionally bring up the possible risks of vaping along with the numerous benefits? Negatives shouldn't be put on a backburner.

We all know your e-cig is safer than a cigarette.

Seems to me that a lot of us did; boiling cotton yarn removes the peroxide you're so exercised about. It's really not difficult.

Alright, I get it. No one here likes to look at the possible negatives of e-cigarettes, I am trolling, nothing to see here, move on.

In all seriousness, if e-cigarettes are keeping people off of smoking tobacco, which they are, power to them. I think it's safe to say that e cigarettes and any negative health impact they could produce would never hold a candle to the danger of cigarettes in a million years. E cigarettes are probably saving lives.
