Hmmm, maybe I got a different deluxe kit. I know with mine I use the smallest and the next size up for coils and they both work great. Could use the larger rods for mondo coils I guess but I don't use coils of that diameter personally.
I do. :D

To each their own, ya know...

Couple good suggestions here. I have a coat hanger coil jig myself... paper clip also. Should have thought of that.

Never tried the welding rod yet.

Nice looking build, what wire did you use there and what was the final resistance of the build? I have been playing with all sorts of builds, currently twisted 28 duals, in the Nuppin looking for the perfect vape.

24 ga A1
4 wraps
On most atties at a 4/3 wrap it comes in around .2 depending on looseness and legs

Haven't tested it on the nuppin but it's an extra 1/4 turn each and I think shorter in the legs... not really sure where the bottom legs start to make contact

ETA: Pretty sure it's a 3mm I.d. ... haven't checked in a long while, but that's my story and I'm sticking to it. I think it's the smallest of the larger diameter mandrels that comes with the gizmo.

Yup, good points in that thread for sure. I'll have to try dropping my builds on the Nuppin and see how that goes, don't think I've gone below about .4 as of yet.
Wonder if coil position might not be your issue. Really, that's the tough part about the nuppin since you have to cut the lower leg just right or roll and tighten the slack out before you tighten the positive post and snip.

I mean... if you don't normally build that low in other atties. I just happen to like that build used it in about a dozen atties so far. Only one I didn't like was the one with the huge post holes. Disliked that thing so much I don't remember what it was called. It will come to me.

Well, I've moved the coils in close, out far, down low, up high, haven't noticed much of a difference except for throat hit. Right now have it built centered all the way around and it is vaping well just not part the clouds for light from heaven well. Your coils seem higher but that just because of how wide they are.

I'm guessing you've tightened the grub screws then. I have one or two that come loose from time to time. How about your 510 on your mod? Good connection? The nuppins not very deep. If you've snugged down another atty with a hair too much torque at any time before on your reo, it might be time to rebuild the 510.

Are you building lower ohms than you're used to to get vapor? Should not be necessary much if at all.
