You need to be in a facebook group called HEMO or High End mods Only. That in of itself is a major feat. It is a private group and you need to be invited by someone that is willing to "vouch" for you. They are very serious about their rules, in that if someone vouches for you, and you mess up not only do you get kicked out but so does your voucher. The modders themselves are in this group so they have a zero tolerance policy for bull.....

Wow...just checked it out. I see multiple posts about lists and open registration. Sounds very exclusive.

Edit: That may not be the one you are talking about. The one I found was just High End Mods.

i've heard they make you meet up in a group at 3:33 am in the wastelands, dance and drink merrily round a fire, then sacrifice a nemesis clone upon a magic boulder.

then, only then, may one beholdeth the glas mod.

Ohhhh, just tell me when and where. I'll send my slave err mean my secretary.

Prestige is a class of its own. But to be honest it's easier to join a Ferrari group. No I"m not kidding.

Yeah, well duh! That's because you can actually buy a Ferrari any given day of the week, on the spot, provided you have the $.

I have plenty of money to spend on mods though I don't have the time nor patience to jump through hoops to try to buy something.

I'll stick to my occasionally available; yet not almost impossible to find preference for now.

what's funny is I know several people on hemo who own the glas, and i wouldnt consider any of them above middle-lower class (financially). I mean 1 of them doesnt even own a car, yet has spent easily 3k on his vaping stuff. Not saying 3k is a lot, but for someone who lives in orange county w/o a car, it didnt make sense to me. I guess its the whole obtainable luxury. He can't buy a ferrari (or even a used honda civic) but he can save up for months and get a glas mod. even more funny? I know a vaper with a ferrari (and a lambo/maserati/porsche/audi) and he thinks its stupid to buy a glas. Don't get me wrong, I would totally buy one if there was a website, but I'm not going to jump through hoops to get a mod. Seems like the high school version of joining the cool club.

By no means am I "dissing" hemo or glas. If thats what that group wants to do then I am totally for them. It's just not something that appeals to me.

Funny you say the part about the guy with collection of cars. Guy who got me started on Stingrays is a Porsche driver. My collection of ray's mimics his though I drive a Jeep and a Ford.

At the end of the day I still don't mind that I do not own a glas. I live in paradise, work is good, i am fed. That and I have more mods than I could use even if I had 2 more hands.

I love SJC, the only thing is its too hot for me. I am a car enthusiast. Another hobby of mine. What kind of jeep/ford do you have? Always wanted an older grand cherokee or a woody. Woody would be perfect in a place like sjc

Too hot?!? I am in the part of town that should be considered part of Dana Point (pretty much southwestern most corner). Jeep is just a run-around vehicle, 99 GC 4x4 with 4.0 I6 pushin 175k mi (all my vehicles I have owned have been I6 powered; this one being the least ballsy of them all ). Ford is just my work van, E250 Super Duty.
