I checked their FB for release info, and there's very little there even though their shop links there. I haven't seen a single customer's comments answered. The shop itself has very little descriptions for their products, even basics such as size is missing. They love to put up pictures in fake colors with atomizers I have never seen before, making it very difficult to make out what it is you're about to purchase.

I could go on for a while, but the whole brand looks like top notch elitist BS. I have no problem with their prices and nice pictures, and I love high-end stuff, but shrouding your product in semi mystery and posting release dates and preorders god-knows-where when you already have a FB page AND an online shop, yeah, I can do without the exclusive attitude.

Have had a bit of a chance to Vape on mine and....OMG! The threads are like butter, the switch is velvety smooth, the hit is one of the smoothest vapes I've ever had, and the voltage drop is non existent. I have to remind myself to switch batteries out after a while otherwise I'll just keep vaping till they die out completely....

The beauty of this mod goes far beyond its looks!

ordered a 18490 Phantom today and already received email confirmation of shipment. Very excited.

Now, here come my stupid questions:

(1) What diameter are the Glas mods? 22mm?

(2) Does it come with the atomizer and drip tip as shown in the pics on the website?

(3) What kind of threading does it have? 20x1?

I've been searching for one for a while and finally happy I was able to order one. Am very interested in seeing how the button is. My goto mods right now are MCR-101s and GP Paps V3s. Both with amazing switches. I also have a Grey Bishop with an amazing switch as well but I'm just not as much of a fan of that one.

Yes, 22mm
No RDA, drip tip is available separately.
Not sure on the threads, both ends are different sizes on the main tube.

Sketchy isn't the word. More like asinine. the idea that a metal tube with two threaded holes can command a price like that, and people pay it. Hilarious.

Do you own a glas or have you ever had the chance to use one? I agree it's crazy if someone wants to pay double original price, but the eBay price is fairly close to it.

No, but unless it's made of a new superconductor that isn't listed on the periodic table of elements, I won't be impressed. Good old salt/vinegar followed by a good metal polish is the great equalizer of all mech mods, regardless of how much anyone paid for them. I effing love science.

I have one and absolutely love it!
Purchased right off their website at retail.
I don't see anything wrong with people who would pay double for anything, if they can afford it.
Just another transaction that makes our Vape world go around, the seller is more than likely to spend proceeds on more gear which is good for the economy. The buyer has now attained his sought after little work of art and will use it or not, entirely their choice.
Instead off knocking anybody who could afford to pay crazy money for anything. I'd rather see if their are lessons to be taken from their success...

Voltage drop is 0.7-0.9 on mine. Simply amazing. I'm an MCR fanboy (lol) but the glas is so smooth and hits like a freight train because of the almost non existent voltage drop.

Too hot?!? I am in the part of town that should be considered part of Dana Point (pretty much southwestern most corner). Jeep is just a run-around vehicle, 99 GC 4x4 with 4.0 I6 pushin 175k mi (all my vehicles I have owned have been I6 powered; this one being the least ballsy of them all ). Ford is just my work van, E250 Super Duty.
Cool stuff I'm in SC

Now that's a sign of the times. Think about that for a minute.

A fool and his money are easily parted

I don't think many of you understand how electrical currents flow.
Most of your "drop" is internal resistance from the battery, not the tube.

Does this look sketchy to anyone else? Glas Phantom on eBay for $375 'Buy it Now' but I found it listed on VapeTrader for double the price. Don't understand the rationale behind this. They both are apparently coming out of Texas, it could very well be the same person but it just strikes me as weird.

New Authentic Glas Phantom Mechanical Mod Comes with 2 Batteries VIP Mod Vapor | eBay
Brand New Authentic Glas Phantom Mechanical Mod 18500 series | The Vape Trader

What did you find out about that? Was one of the members of that elite facebook club about to make a move out of his mom's basement?
