@garnoch That is not going to work. It has to be glass or the a glass window.. it cant be plastic. It looks nice but it will probably not hold up to citrus, sour and cinnimon flavors. Otherwise it would work well if the vision was through glass and not plastic. Plus it will not hold up to full vg juices and that is a thing i need as well..

You can purchase a complete pyrex tank kit from IBTanked for $25. Includes the glass tube, stainless steel caps, the correct carto, a combination tank tool/drip tip, extra o-rings for the caps, and a Thingy. https://www.ibtanked.com/kits/complete-tanks/19mm-clear-tank-detail

The list of vendors that sell pre-punched carto's was borrowed from one of my blog articles (link under my avatar). Below is another article describing the options in juice devices to use the flavors known to crack or melt clearomizers and polycarbonate plastic tubes found in the cheaper cartotanks and vivi nova tanks.

Something Safe for Cinnamon and Citrus Flavors

List of confirmed flavors that can crack or melt polycarbonate clearomizers or clear plastic tubed tanks:

If you are using a cigarette-size battery, about your only option to use the volatile flavors in question is a stainless steel cartomizer. The other juice delivery devices are just too large to put on a cigalike.

For the benefit of the other members that might be viewing this thread, below are some options for people using a battery at least the size of an eGo:

IBTanked-on-Spinner.jpgIBTanked25mmsb.jpg dctank.jpg IBTanked pyrex and polypropylene DCT

IBTanked and Valley View Vapes offer about the most affordable pyrex tanks available, and are high quality. The new Kanger Pro Tank (glass) is also an option.

Any tank that uses polypropylene as the tube material (frosted plastic) is safe also, such as the DCT pro tanks from My Vapor Store and the polypro tanks at Valley View. All-metal tanks can be used, but are difficult to judge falling juice levels since you can't see the juice.

metal sleeves for VN.jpg Replacement all-metal tubes for Vivi Nova tanks

There are metal sleeves available for the Vivi Nova tanks, sold as an accessory. Only the ones made entirely with metal are safe, the ones with the clear plastic window are still made with polycarbonate, which can still crack with the volatile flavors.

Provari_Lil Mama.jpg Big Daddy Vapors metal tanks with juice window

The Who's Your Daddy and Lil Moma metal tanks have a juice window that the vendor claims is safe for all juices, so I assume the window is made of polypropylene-safe plastic.

Ah got ya. Being the udct was brought up and you were worried what it looked like, figured I'd give you a pic.

Lemme know if you find one...I'd love me a pyrex vivi nova.

OCD is the glass specialist that makes the IBTanks, and replacement pyrex tubes for many of the rebuildable atomizers out on the market. He has looked into offering a pyrex tube for the mini nova's, but has given up as it is not feasable mechanically or economically because of the threading of the vivi nova caps.

I did a little more research:

Some of the U-DCT tanks from Vapor Kings have frosted tubes, these are polypropylene and safe to use.

Copied from the product description: "The clear tank is polycarbonate material and may crack if used with strong "homebrew" liquids which contain a lot of cinnamon or citrus flavors. This is NOT covered by warranty. Colored tanks are polypropylene material." Smoktech LARGE ULTIMATE Dual Coil Tank (DCT)
___

The U-DCT tanks from Aqua Vapor Cig appear to have frosted tubes that are polypropylene, but there is no mention in the description of what the material actually is.

Just throwing this out there as an option as well. Electronicstix has a delrin tank. I have never used one, only down side I could see with it is price and the fact that juice level wouldn't be as easily viewed as in a glass tank. However, I don't think it would get any tougher than this.

I run Cinnamon in my MT-3 every day on top of my eGo Twist...

Not all cinnamon flavors have the ingredients that cause cracking or melting of polycarbonate. You got lucky.

The plastic window in the Kanger MT-3 is polycarbonate, as well as the windows in the Vision Neptune and the accessory metal-sleeved Vivi Nova with the juice window.

Yup, gotta agree that Citrus and Cinnamon (or at least most Cinnamons) will eventually crack ANY plastic tube. The Vivi Nova is Polycarbonate, but it'll crack, too.

If you're OK with a Cartomizer, then IBTanked is the way to go. If you'd consider something more in the DIY line, like making your own Wicks and Coils, then look into RBA designs (Rebuildables). There are some nice ones, smaller ones, that would look good on your PV, and IBTanked makes Glass Tubes for many of them, too. Just sayin'.
