Glass measureing items

Any one know of Canadian vendors that carry glass measuring equipment. There's some American ones that do, but I prefer to get my stuff at home.
Glass is so much nicer to work with IMO, kinda makes me feel like a chemist, or at least like what I know what I'm doing in the DIY department.

He wil ship as well, but try googling Lab Equipment and your City and see what pops up. That's how I found him.

I've ordered lab glassware from the US in the past without issue.

I did try and find Canadian suppliers for items, but it seems like all I found was for bulk qty's, and/or they were quite over priced in comparison.

Try here MVVM. They appear to make all that stuff. They could tell you who carries it in town or maybe even sell to you.

I snagged a couple of graduated cylinders, stir sticks and misc other beakers etc at a local junk store last week. Pretty lucky to find it. I snagged a bunsen burner just for the memories of high school science class. Man, I sure blew up some really neat stuff in school...

Personally, I'd like a couple 5mil. and 10mil. glass syringes with the standard
luer-lok threading. If there is such a thing? Don't know.

The ink from the 5mil. plastic came off mine making measuring anything
impossible. Fortunately I had an unused one that still had the measurements on it so I
placed them side by side and scored the clear plastic tube at the 3, 4 and 5mil. levels
with a scalpel, then coloured with a sharpie wiping off the excess, which left ink in the
scores on the tube. I got free 1mil. syringes from the drugstore and cut off the needles
so I use them (or glass eyedroppers) for smaller amounts.

My better half calls me her "mad scientist" already, to which I reply "I'm not a scientist".

Some nice glass equipment would certainly help me "appear" to be more scientific.

I'm in ON too, I'm going to look myself but could you let us know what/who you decide to go with?

You can put a piece of scotch tape over the markings on the plastic ones, it extends their life substantialy.

Yeah this is what I do with my syringes as soon as I take them out of the pack .. actually used clear packing tape over the whole thing... 4 months later and all the markings remain intact ... and the tape hasn't peeled off either

Small beakers & graduated cylinders, 10-50 ml. I'm just getting ready to start DIY, I'll be making small batches so I want small measuring equipment. I prefer glass over plastic.. I have lots of syringes in different sizes, I just like the idea of measuring into the grad cylinders instead of my bottles. I guess it's one of my little quirks

I just placed an order for some glass measuring stuff from a Canadian company (Quebec) if you are still looking. Prices are good and I stocked up on Boston bottles, beakers, stirring rods, and a funnel.
