It's just a $2.49 fishing bobber I got from Fred Meyers and regular grommets. Plastic but if plastic is bad for you then I should be dead after all the stuff I've consumed from plastic. There is an endless list of plastic eating, and food storage containers not to mention product containers. For as little as it cost and the 15 min. it took to make I could toss it and not be hurt.

The only reason you need a kiln for cooling is if your working with different thicknesses of glass. The thin glass cools faster than the thick glass does and cracks if you don't cool them at the same rate. I had a lot of great pieces shatter finding that out. I'm going to try to make one out of glass one of these days or find a tiny glass ball and drill the ends for one.

As a DIY juice maker, I use only the best plastics in my juices. 100% American made Kosher plastics have always been in all of my juices.

I don't know where I was going with that... but I cracked myself up the whole time.
