I hate to break it to you folks... but while it WAS a Full Moon last night, it was not what is typically referred to as a "Blue" Moon :?: although there was one LAST year in August!!

The reason they say "Once in a Blue Moon..." is because it happens so rarely... kinda like having 5 Paydays in the same month... :D LOL!!

Only because there is - "mis-information" once again, being given as "Fact" - I strongly suggest that "ANYONE" truly interested in knowing just "Goggle" (or use any other search engine of their choosing) the key words . . .

What "misinformation"?? I merely said that "it was not what is typically referred to as a "Blue" Moon..."

The only thing I am guilty of is not having a 'Farmer's Almanac' handy to consult... LOL!!!

"This month's full moon, which rises on Tuesday, Aug. 20, is not just a Blue Moon - it's also the Full Sturgeon Moon, the Full Red Moon, the Green Corn Moon and the Grain Moon.

Tonight's full moon qualifies as a Blue Moon because it's the third full moon in a season with four (most seasons have only three). Historically, there have been two different definitions of a Blue Moon."

Personally, I never trust what Sturgeons tell me.
