This is probably the toughest part of DIY.. deciding on a strength for each flavoring... and THEN deciding on the strength of a mixture.
This is where the magic takes place!

But who'd-a thought I'd have to settle at 12.5%?

I took the easy way out for DIY. I have made a bottle of ready-to-vape liquid for each flavor I have, separately. I'm working with super concentrates, approx 2.5-3% works with most of them. If I want some watermelon with strawberry, all I have to do is mix the two together in very small batches until I get the balance I'm looking for. I've done the same process for a tropical tobacco with pineapple and coconut, and I like it a lot. Whether it's right or wrong, it's how I do it and it's working well. Working with super concentrates, I'm lucky I get anything tasty.

Especially with super concentrates, yours might be the only DIY development method...
I'm having enough trouble finding the sweet-spots between 8%&15%.... RTV mixers is the only way to work when ±.02% is the difference between bliss and funerary arrangements... flavor-wise...
edit:Unless you have kick-... auto-pipetters accurate ±0.005ml, working in 4ml batches is out-of-the-question...;-)
