Three members of congress are petitioning the FDA and FCC to regulate e-cigarette ads on radio, claiming they are directly targeting teenagers.
I'll save the posting of the entire article because the above sentence encapsulates it completely. But there is one line I found quite interesting:
One other interesting (from a radio revenue standpoint) point... E-Cig advertisers ran over 7000 radio ads between 10-21 and 10-27 2013. We are a growing force.
Also... I have not heard ONE e-cigarette commercial that specifically targets teens. They ALL take the "healthier alternative to smoking" angle.
