@GMO- I forgot to mention that most
coils in clearos and factory stock
coils for rebuildables are 32 gauge wire which gets really hot really fast. Another reason why thicker (lower gauge) wire
coils can have less ohms and provide similar results, although more time before it gets hot. A 1 ohm coil made from 26 gauge wire might not even get as hot as a 2 ohm coil made with 32 gauge wire. I've seen it said here on ECF many times, "it's all about wire temp". It's somewhat complicated. TMI for many, apologies.
@LD- The plastic bolt has super thin wires inside. It will likely break the first time you drop it. You can't use a kick in it. If you're dead set on getting one, I suggest applying superglue to the seams and wrapping it in tape as soon as it comes out of the box. If it's dropped with an atty on top the 510 connector will likely pop off.
