Lots of birthdays in December. It makes sense, 9 months ago was the beginning of spring... wink, wink, nudge, nudge. I don't know if it's still the case, but a lot of kids used to be born in the beginning of October, 9 months after New Years.

Speaking of birthdays, the interwebs have informed me that our host and juice maker is having a birthday this month. I certainly don't believe everything the internet tells me, but if this is the case I'd sure like to know...

I admit it... I DO have a birthday next week. On the 12th, smartypants Uncle!

I'm planning a ROAD TRIP!!!. Two nieces have a birthday on the 13th (They are 10 years younger) I'm taking a trip with one of the birthday girls and a third niece to visit the second twin in The Woodlands, Texas. I'll be gone 4 days and you guys will be left to your own devices.

It's a very nostalgic trip, reminiscent of the 50's when my older sister and her husband would pile all the kids and my Mom and I into the Station Wagon and we'ed be off to see the country. It's been a loooong time since we've had the opportunity to celebrate our collective birthdays together.

The next Contest will be two weeks long with 2 weekly winners along with some sub-contest winners.

I am so glad Stan is out of Cincinnati! He delivered there this morning at 0430 and then headed south to Frankfort, KY to reload. He has been in and out of ice/snow for the past three days and it looks like he will just continue to be hit with it on the way home. I think I am more anxious when he is driving in it that when it is me. Makes very little sense since he is much more experienced than I!

ETA: I am sorry, that was very self-centered of me! I hope you are not snowed in and I hope you just can stay home by choice and not get out in the white stuff!

1- hi all rainy day here, some clearing tomorrow, then up to a half foot of wet snow and ice pellets on Sunday though Monday morning >.<.

Started snowing a little more here now.

I spoke too darn soon. The load in Frankfort, KY cancelled. Apparently the weather was too bad to load the truck???? REALLY? truck backs up to the dock, open the door, run the pallets in with a forklift, truck pulls out, close the dock door and go home. What the heck does the outside weather have to do with the inside activities of a warehouse???

Anyway, he is going BACK to Cincinnati to load this evening. Cross fingers, eyes and toes that he makes it. Empty trailers make for very difficult driving in snow and ice...like no traction. Pewp!
