I do have a 8-12 shift saturday morning, so i cant go out too late tonite...

Pulp Fiction was on AMC the other night, i have never watched a censored version before, and they cut a significant amount of that movie out. they also dub nonsense words over the cursing. its funny, but would be better to mute them....
and yes, i showed it to my 1-year-old.... 'cause im a no good poppa...

I played boatloads of Age of Empires, 2, Age of Mythology, and AoE3. I like AoE3, I play as the Aztecs and usually fight the Spanish, rewriting history. I also play as the British and conquer... everybody. I got both up to level 50 something and stopped, the AI is stupid unless it's on hard/expert (which is actually just a handicap). If I could play online I would get stomped flat in no time, it's the general nature of online play unless you spend hours a day on one game. YMMV
Good grief ECF is super slow tonight.
I also do AOE 2 Snarf and play as the British. I have tried the online gaming and there are people who stomp you in 2-4 minutes. Amazing and I don't know how they do it.
#3 - I never was much of a AOE player. I was addicted to Red Alert for a brief time though. I tried to get into Statecraft but the learning curve is intense. Especially when most of the players haf already played for years before I gave it a go. I was pretty sick at counter-strike though. Even went to a few tournaments. Certified nerd here haha.
#5 It's like the chess move "fool's mate", done during speed chess. They have mastered the start and rarely have to play further than that point. Personally, I prefer to play the AI so I can get through all the stages and make a nice village with walls, it's more fun than a quick skirmish... even though small battles are probably more realistic. I don't play video games in an attempt to simulate reality, that defeats the point IMO. I just wanna have fun!

AOE2 w/expansion(?) was what i played excessively. I was in middle school, and for nearly a year, played 2-4 hours a day.
I remember getting my online ranking up to something ridiculously high. Do you remember building wonders? We would have wonder races as online matches. I really liked that game, couldn't be adapted well to a console. there is too much fast cursor movement required to control many things simultaneously.
The Brits were also my fav, huge herds of longbowman behind paladins...
there are a CRAZY amount of cheat codes (there are easily disabled in pregame menu) that would allow rocket cars, laser bombs, nukes, and all sorts of crazy vehicles and peoples.
i'd like to say a few years back i bought AOE3, but didnt get into it.
Played red-alert & counterstrike a little around the same time.
