Good morning TreeFam!
Tomorrow is the my next gig, just moving some stuffs around in preparation. One of my headlining djs from phoenix had to cancel, car issues, his replacement is a guy i have never worked with, but came highly recommended. We'll see, im a skeptic till i see hands on a turntable....
My focus for the next 24 hours will be a final promo push. Because our target demographic is a little older than our usual patronage, we need to utilize more tools to reach more people. Can't rely on facebook promotions for event attendance... Tho it helps..

Dr Who. Ill give it another go, i didnt dislike it, just wasn't enthralled.
I did dig the flat 'last human'
levisdaddy , Keep watching it picks up as it goes and as you pick up on things. The first few episodes kinda reexplain it as it reintroduces the show to "new who" fans .

LD--I think Doctor Who is one of those things that people either love or hate. I love it. In fact, I like it so much that I spent last summer as a scholar-in-residence at NYU doing research for an article on the representation of gender and sexuality in Doctor Who. Even if I didn't have a scholarly interest in it, I think the writing is especially clever. (I think my first avatar on ECF was The Tardis, but I not totally sure.)

One of things that I generally LOVE about ECF is that discussions of politics don't come up much. Frankly, I'm a bit of a political junkie, and I'm happy to stay away from it here. That said, I'm with Uncle on this one. As far as the executive orders are concerned--every president from both parties has used them extensively to advance their agendas.

Politics shmolitics. :p

“You can please some of the people some of the time all of the people some of the time some of the people all of the time but you can never please all of the people all of the time.” - Abraham Lincoln

Even John Wilkes Booth probably agreed with that part.

great quote!
I share in the warm sentiment that we here in this thread on this forum can handle these hottopic (like the super-awesome -store) issues and have polite, civil and SHORT discussions without anyone leaving the thread feeling oppressed or unimportant.

It may also be worth saying, that while many forums exist to discuss those issues, i wouldn't want to waste all the type & time (tm pending) exhausting myself trying to prove a point or opinion with no hope of resolution because i am airing my political grievances on an internet forum...

On rare occasion, a peculiar situation arises in which i am at the end of the month, very close to my budget, and cant seal the deal, just a few dollars away... Now, the difference from my numbers to my budget is less dollars than the difference in my bonus would be. I am not saying i would do this.. But.. Essentially, i could make an anonymous payment on an account to put me at budget, and receive a full bonus. Or, i could not make the payment, and rec about 60% of a bonus.
These are not real numbers.. but why wouldnt i pay $150 to rec $250?

Step 1 - decide that today is the day you will start to eat healthy (3rd time this month)
Step 2 - skip bagel and cream cheese at your desk after you get to work (so hungry)
Step 3 - notice people scurrying around break room around 11:00 am (this seems familiar)
Step 4 - listen as 'happy birthday to you" breaks out for the 20th time this year (so far)
Step 5 - join in for the quick celebration of some guy in payroll (tell yourself that you don't need cake)
Step 6 - wipe the chocolate frosting off my keyboard...you are so weak!!! :)

#2 Are you freaking kidding me??? I just read a thing here where someone's red blood count has gone way up since they started vaping. Noooooooo, I have Polycythemia and was at the point where they ( stupid doctors ) wanted to start drawing blood from me on a monthly basis to get it down. I never even thought about what vaping might do. I mean sure I knew analogs contributed to it.

I am NOT giving up my vaping. Nope, not happening.

Suppose I will go get another round of blood work done. I already have the sheet to get it done. I sort of stuffed it away in my purse months ago. :censored::censored::censored:

Well, now I just read where another members count went down since they starting vaping. Only has to have blood drawn once a month instead of twice. So who knows, guess I will just go get it checked.

Always 'loved' getting these behavioral questions from some of the most 'disturbing' people I was ever interviewed by. Now I have had good luck with most interviews in my career...with some very nice/professional people. I have noticed, however, that the really ridiculous 'tell me about your weaknesses' kind of questions, most often, seemed to be from people that looked like they enjoyed these tortuous moments a little too much.

2 - Hi everyone!

Survived my interview :)

Wasn't as bad as before -- instead of 20 behavioral interview questions luckily only 5! I didn't leave feeling as confident though...maybe because it was my 2nd time around, I'm not sure.

Hope everyone is having a good day!

#1 Lunchtime! What to eat? Having skipped breakfast, I'm too hungry to make decisions. It all looks good.

How about a simple Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich . . . I actually just had one with "Skippy" (the only kind) Chunky Peanut Butter and Smuckers "Suger Free" Grape Jelly on Levi's (NY Area Brand that I bring back with "Me") Everything Rye Bread and a cup of COFFEE of course . . .

(Actually - Breakfast/Lunch . . . ;))
